The Atlanta Falcons released suspended quarterback Michael Vick, opening the door for him to sign with any interested NFL team. Vick is eligible to immediately sign with a team even though he has not been reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff said the team relinquished its contractual rights to Vick on Friday.
