I think we can get this out of the way first. When the Philadelphia Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday, I don’t care if he is wearing his Eagles uniform, a Superman costume or street clothes – Michael Vick will not be playing in this game. Philly can have him suit up for gamesmanship purposes, but in no way do I see Vick entering this game. Now that that is settled, who else may be playing the role of spectator when the battle of the birds takes place tomorrow? I am hearing many reports that Falcons’ linebacker Sean Weatherspoon is very iffy for this contest. He has not practiced this week, and head coach Mike Smith knows that Stephen Nicholas is more than capable of handling the starting duties for this game. It would be foolish to rush him back if he is not close to 100% by game time.
