The Atlanta Falcons may live to regret playing their regulars in Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs already wrapped up, the Falcons had nothing on the line against the Buccaneers, who were already eliminated from postseason contention. In something of a worst-case scenario, the Falcons not only lost the game, 22-17, but they lost two players to injuries. Cornerback Dunta Robinson is being monitored by the league after sustaining a concussion, and defensive end John Abraham is trying to shake off a left ankle injury. "I can tell you this, on both of the players that left the game yesterday, I fully anticipate that they will be ready to go on Sunday, Jan. 13th at 1 (p.m.)," coach Mike Smith said Monday. Abraham, who led the team with 10 sacks this season, was hurt in the fourth quarter. He couldn't put any weight on the leg as he was carried off the field. He got stuck under a pile when defensive tackle Peria Jerry fell on top of him. Robinson left Sunday's game in the first quarter, and he did not return. He attempted to tackle Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin and stumbled backward for three steps before dropping to the turf.
