The Atlanta Falcons head into their Week 12 matchup against
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with two starters questionable after exiting last
weekend’s contest against the Arizona Cardinals; wide receiver Julio Jones and
cornerback Asante Samuel.
Jones entered the Cardinals’ game as questionable due to a
right ankle injury. After catching three passes for 33 yards against Arizona,
he exited the contest after aggravating his ankle injury. He is considered
questionable to play against the Buccaneers.
Samuel wasn’t injured prior to Sunday’s game against
Arizona, but the All-Pro cornerback exited the contest in first quarter with a
right shoulder injury. He sustained the injury while trying to tackle Cardinals
wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Samuel didn’t return and is also considered
questionable for Sunday’s matchup with Tampa Bay.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan hopes he never has to endure another five-interception game.
It sounds simple, but Ryan breaks down last week's narrow victory over Arizona as a learning experience that could have ended much worse.

The Atlanta Falcons were so eager to show defensive end Ray Edwards the door last week, they handed him a check for $1 million on his way out.

Warning: The 2012 Buccaneers are for real
There are still six games remaining in the 2012 NFL season but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are already turning doubters into believers. This past offseason, which was arguably one of the best the Bucs have had in history, has proven to pay off just 10 games into the season. But let’s step back for a moment. The new coaching staff, free agent acquisitions, and draft picks the team...

ZB Notebook 11-20-12
I’m not going to say the Atlanta Falcons are a bad team. At 9-1 they deserve more respect than that, but they may be the least convincing 9-1 team I’ve seen in awhile.
The offense remains explosive, but the team lost five picks to Arizona at home last weekend in a game that shouldn’t have been as close as four points. The run game is nonexistent and now news has leaked that...
