Earlier this week, the Falcons set their roster and announced their practice squad. Today they made three roster moves along the offensive. The Falcons reached an injury settlement with guard Phillipkeith Manley, who had been named to the practice squad on Sunday. They waived UDFA Terren Jones, who originally made the roster. Finally, they signed veteran Jeremy Trueblood. The settlement with Manley leaves a spot open on the practice squad so hopefully that's where Terren Jones will be heading.  Trueblood was the depth that we kind of expected the Falcons to sign after camp waivers. Trueblood played his college ball at Boston College (hmmm...I wonder who else played there?) and played for the Tampa Bay Bucs from 2006 to 2012. Overall for his career he played in 101 games and started 84. Last year, Trueblood lost his starting job in Tampa and sat out the closing stretch of the season with an injury to his shoulder. He was in camp this fall with the Redskins but obviously did not make their roster. Expect Lamar Holmes to be given every shot to hold down the RT position in game one but if he does falter, Trueblood gives the Falcons another option that has NFL experience.
