PLAYERS: Matt Ryan
TEAMS: Atlanta Falcons
Matt Ryan is in the final year of his rookie contract. Ryan, 28, led the Falcons to the NFC Championship game last season and is 56-22 in his career as a starter. The durable signal caller has missed just two games and is coming off back-t0-back seasons of 4,000 yards passing. Ryan is expected to command a salary which rivals Joe Flacco’s which would mean $50 million guaranteed and $18-22 million annually. Should the Falcons not work out a deal they have the option of placing the franchise tag on Ryan for the 2014 season.
