Falcons RB among less than 1 percent of perfect March Madness brackets remaining

According to the NCAA March Madness X account, less than 1 percent of brackets are still perfect after the first day of the men's tournament.
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson filled out one of them.

Among the upsets that Robinson correctly picked from Thursday's action were 11th-seeded Duquesne, North Carolina State and Oregon to defeat sixth-seeded BYU, Texas Tech and South Carolina, respectively.

The biggest stunner that the 2023 first-round pick called though was 14th-seeded Oakland shocking third-seeded Kentucky.

If Robinson's perfect streak is to continue, the second day of the madness will have to include more big upsets.

The 22-year-old has 12th-seeded Grand Canyon beating fifth-seeded Saint Mary's and what would be a monumental shocker, 15th-seeded Western Kentucky dropping second-seeded Marquette.

Looking at his potential round-of-32 matchups, Robinson then has three more upsets brewing in seventh-seeded Washington State defeating second-seeded Iowa State, the 12th-seeded Antelopes knocking off fourth-seeded Alabama and seventh-seeded Texas winning against second-seeded Tennessee.

Half of Robinson's Elite Eight is filled with Cinderella stories, including the 12th-seeded Grand Canyon, the 11th-seeded Wolfpack and the seventh-seeded Cougars and Longhorns.

Robinson also has heavy favorites UConn and Houston, as well as third-seeded Baylor and fifth-seeded Gonzaga, advancing to the regional finals.

The star running back advances the Huskies, Cougars and Bears into the Final Four, but has the Longhorns continuing their magical run. Robinson then has Texas taking down UConn in the national title game for its first-ever championship.

The Longhorns are a bold choice to capture the crown, but the former eighth overall pick is staying true to his old school after playing three seasons with Texas from 2020-22.
