ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Atlanta Falcons have reached an agreement with S William Moore on a five-year contract extension. Atlanta made it clear that retaining their own free agents was their top priority after they released players like John Abraham, Dunta Robinson and Michael Turner to free up extra cap space. Moore, 27, is coming off of a very solid season for the Falcons’ defense. He was expected to be targeting a contract worth $25-30 million, so we’ll have to see how close he came to that figure.
