Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports After releasing Asante Samuel last month, the Atlanta Falcons have added depth to the cornerback position by signing yet another former Kansas City Chief, Javier Arenas, his Atlanta-based agent Hadley Engelhard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday. The former star of the 2010 Alabama Crimson Tide national championship team was drafted in the second-round (50th overall) by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2010 draft. Likely to only get playing time if injuries occur it still provides a backup plan just incase. He will probably be listed as the 4th string cornerback on the depth chart behind Desmond Trufant, Robert Alford and Robert McClain. Arenas is listed as a cornerback, but is also a kick return specialist, which is an area where the Falcons struggled last season.
