The Atlanta Falcons signed wide receiver Tim Toone and tight end Chase Coffman to the active roster, the team announced Tuesday. Also, the team put tight end Tommy Gallarda on injured reserve and signed tight end Andrew Szczerba to the practice squad. Both Toone and Coffman were with the Falcons during training camp. Toone was waived-injured on Sept. 6 after catching three passes for 55 yards and one touchdown during the preseason. Coffman has been on the team's practice squad during the regular season. Gallarda played nine games, but suffered a season-ending shoulder injury last Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Szczerba, a free agent rookie from Penn State, originally was a signee of the Dallas Cowboys.
