Falcons strong safety William Moore suffered a thigh injury Sunday and did not return in Atlantas 31-7 rout of the Indianapolis Colts. Moore was replaced in the lineup by James Sanders, a former starter with the New England Patriots. Sanders, who has played mostly on special teams with the Falcons, started against the Eagles at free safety in Week 2. This is not a good time for the Falcons (5-3) to have any issues in the secondary because they will face the New Orleans Saints (6-3) and quarterback Drew Brees in an NFC South showdown next Sunday at the Georgia Dome.
