On Sunday, the Falcons played an undermanned Minnesota Vikings team, and performed admirably against them. The same thing happened in our Week 11 matchup with Tennessee. After getting out to a big lead in the first half, penalties, mistakes, and poor execution brought up third down and long situations. Luckily those situations did not prove to be deadly, but the more times a team punts and doesn’t put points on the board, the easier it becomes to give up points. … [visit site to read more]Falcons vs. Vikings: More of the same - Blogging Dirty - Blogging Dirty - An Atlanta Falcons Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.

Ray Edwards and GF's portrait is provocative

Atlanta Falcons DE Ray Edwards recently revealed his desire to start a modeling career. I’m assuming that’s the desire of his girlfriend LaStarya too. All the info on her mentions she’s an ex-stripper. So I assume being an urban model was/is in the mix as well. The couple did a photo shoot a few months ago for Urban ink magazine and someone decided to turn one of those photos...

Falcons vs Vikings – Who Earned Their Wings

Each week, after the game, I will name a few Falcons players who deserve recognition for their performance. We call it earning your wings. Here we go:-WR Roddy White – White stepped up and had a huge game. On a day he caught 10 balls for 120 yards and a touchdown, he dominated the competition and played in my opinion his most complete game of the season. He was a very reliable...

Harvin earns praise for his game against Atlanta

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Percy Harvin, all 5-foot-11, 184-pounds of him, was trying to bull his way through defensive linemen and linebackers on a third-and-goal run at the 2-yard line. Harvin was stopped short, but kept fighting and replays showed he might have extended the ball across the goal line with 5:06 remaining in Sunday's 24-14 loss at Atlanta. There was no challenge,...

Frazier: Vikings coaches need better communication

Leslie Frazier has one person on his coaching staff dedicated to watching replays and a couple of others who help out to make sure that he is notified when a call on the field has the potential to be overturned. When that system broke down at a crucial moment during the Minnesota Vikings' latest loss, it prompted Frazier to call for an examination of how the process works -...

Losses, injuries and frustration continue to mount for the Minnesota Vikings. They fell to 2-9 with their 24-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons Sunday and criticism is being lobbed in several directions. On message boards, fans are increasingly calling into question the capabilities of head coach Leslie Frazier and are becoming increasingly critical of several areas of the roster. Where...

When Old CFL Football Players Fight Each Other (Video)

This might be one of the more interesting videos that we've come across here on Outside the Boxscore as two former CFL player decided to brawl during the CFL Alumni Legends Luncheon. Understatement of the Century

I mean, Brett Favre threw interceptions before.  You’re not going to have a perfect game all the time, you’re not going to have your best game all the time. I’ve have had horrible games in the past.” – Darrelle Revis on his performance Sunday, to ESPN NY

Vikings long-snapper Loeffler expected to miss 2-6 weeks
