The first task the Atlanta Falcons have to tend to in today's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks is keeping running back Marshawn Lynch from exploding. If the Seahawks can get Lynch in a groove, then rookie quarterback Russell Wilson will have many opportunities to run also, and that could cause major problems for the Falcons defense. Last week, Lynch ran for 132 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Washington Redskins. Another performance like that and the Falcons could be in a lot of trouble. The Falcons are ranked 21st in the NFL for rushing defense and with the wildcard of having to guard the option offense, and Wilson, Lynch could prove to be the driving force as he has been all season for the Seahawks. "He loves contact. He loves breaking tackles. Marshawn has been the man since he was able to not wear diapers," said Falcons defensive end Kroy Bierrmann according to Marc Sessler of NFL.com. "He's a great, great, great, great football player, he doesn't shy away from anything." "He's gonna get every yard he can. You can see he likes the game and loves to play it. We've got some guys like that on this team -- guys who are lucky to be playing a game and feel blessed to be doing something they love doing." var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
