Pro Football Zone:
Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff made an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio and indicated that cornerback Dunta Robinson will likely move inside with the addition of Asante Samuel.
“I know Dunta has wanted to play inside in the nickel spot,” said Dimitroff per Rotoworld.com. “He did it out in Houston before he came our way. He’s an aggressive guy who can play the run as well as be aggressive in the pass game. I think it’s going to be a nice mix of talents.”
Dimitroff is right, Robinson did play the nickel early in his career with the Texans, but he was terrible. But then again he hasn’t played that well on the outside since coming over to the Falcons, so it could work.
