Falcons safety William Moore was arrested and charged with simple battery on Thursday. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the 28-year-old (in May) got into a dispute with a woman and grabbed her shoulder. He was booked into the Fulton County Jail, and is due in court at 11 a.m. Friday. The Falcons released a statement, confirming they're looking into the incident. “We are aware of the situation involving William Moore and are in the process of gathering more information," a Falcons spokesperson said. "Because this is now a legal matter, the club will have no further comment at this time.” Coming off his first Pro Bowl season, Moore signed five-year, $29.5 million extension last month. This is his first known offense since entering the league in 2009.
