The Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints renew their NFC South rivalry on Sunday. We'll let Roddy White take it from there. "I don't like nothing about the Saints," White told The Atalanta Journal-Constitution. "The colors. The City. Nothing. "But they've got some good food, though. Other than the food, nothing." The Saints didn't need any extra motivation considering their precarious situation, they sit with a 3-5 record and have to start winning if they plan to make a playoff push these final eight games. Oh, and the Falcons just happen to be the last undefeated team in the NFL. "This would make their whole month of November if they can mess up our record," White said. "We know that. You don't have to get people up for this game in the locker room. We all know what this game is about. We all know that we have to go out there and get after it." Don't think the Falcons have forgotten the last meeting. The Saints rolled to a 45-16 win during Week 16 last season, and Drew Brees stayed in the game in the fourth quarter to break Dan Marino's single-season passing yards record, the Saints have beat the Falcons in the last three meetings, six of the last seven and 10 of 12. "They have won the division two out of the last three years," White said. "We won it the other year. For the last couple years, it's been us and them down to the wire. I think that's what it is and the dislike for each other." Source: NFL.com Attached Thumbnails

Roddy White doesn’t like anything about the Saints

Leading up to tomorrow’s game against the Saints, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White has once again made it clear that he doesn’t like them. “I don’t like nothing about the Saints,” White said, per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “The colors. The city. Nothing. But they’ve got some good food, though. Other than the food, nothing.” White says the Falcons know...

Roddy White says he hates the Saints and New Orleans

Atlanta Falcons Wide Receiver Roddy White told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he hates everything about the New Orleans Saints from their city to their colors (Credit: AP Photo) Earlier this week, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White said he believes the team has the pedigree to go undefeated this year. Today, he is talking even more trash. This time, he is taking aim...

Roddy White: “We’ve Got the Pedigree to Go 16-0″

Per ESPN SportsCenter’s Twitter Feed, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White has publicly stated he thinks the Falcons have what it takes to go 16-0: Bold comments considering there are only two teams in NFL history that have successfully negotiated an undefeated regular season, the 1972 Miami Dolphins and the 2007 New England Patriots. So much for taking each game one at...

Falcons’ Schedule, Not ‘Pedigree,’ Likely to Play Biggest Factor in Team’s Chance at 16-0 (Video)

Roddy White thinks the Falcons can go undefeated, but his reasoning behind that belief isn’t so perfect. The Falcons wide receiver is pointing to the team’s “pedigree” as a reason why they can go 16-0, along with the united nature of the team’s locker room. It might not be the wisest thing to tempt the football gods before a big divisional matchup, but that’s exactly...

NFL Rumors: Roddy White Needs To Stop Talking Following Saints Huge Win Over Falcons

Roddy White has a big mouth as part of the Atlanta Falcons’ offense. At times, he can get quite offensive himself, in more his words than his actions, but White has not learned when to stop talking. If he is seeking advice, now may be a good time. White often takes his trash talking to Twitter. In fact, I am actually a fan, as he has given me plenty to write about through the years...

Roddy White says the Falcons beat themselves, Saints respond

After Sunday’s loss to the Saints, Falcons wide receiver Roddy White wasn’t ready to give New Orleans credit for beating them. “We kind of gave it away,” White said, per USA TODAY Sports. “You know, we gave it to ‘em.” “It’s really frustrating,” he said. “We had every opportunity to win the game and we just didn’t get it done.” Saints linebacker Curtis Lofton...

Roddy White Doesn’t Credit Saints With The Win, Says Falcons ‘Gave’ It To Them

Falcons wide receiver Roddy White didn’t gave the Saints any credit after their 31-27 win over the Falcons on Sunday. When asked what did it say about the Falcons that they couldn’t beat a 3-5 Saints team, White said, “It doesn’t say much about us about us. I think we had opportunities today. It’s not like they came out here and just. … I feel like we kind of gave it away...

Roddy White thinks Falcons can go undefeated

On the strength of MVP candidate Matt Ryan and a defense that bends but rarely breaks, the Falcons currently stand as the league's only undefeated team. At 8-0, Atlanta will put their streak to the test against the division-rival and suddenly resurgent Saints on Sunday. If they do get their ninth victory, could the Falcons run the table all the way to 16-0? Roddy White...

Do We Give White Football Players Enough Credit for Being Exciting?

We all know how skewed scouting reports can be based on race — and lots of players have pointed out that it’s not just on-air experts who follow a pattern when talking about athletes but that it’s actuallydone in team reports as well. I’ve always looked at it from the perspective that black players aren’t given enough credit for being intelligent…that there’s over-emphasis...

Fantasy ranks week 10: Start your Falcons, Julio Jones and Roddy White each inside the top 3 and Matt Ryan our #1 quarterback

We’ve covered it routinely (here and here for example), the Saints are a fantasy matchup worth stacking up against and this week is no different. Its hard to anticipate top 5 numbers from teammates because there are only so many passing yards to go around but if anyone can do it its Roddy White and Julio Jones...

Saints end Falcons unbeaten run with 31-27 win

Roddy White and the Atlanta Falcons came up just short in their bid to stay unbeaten. Not that White was about to give the rival Saints too much credit after New Orleans pulled out a dramatic 31-27 upset of previously unbeaten Atlanta on Sunday. ''It's not like they came out here and won a game,'' White said. ''I think we kind of gave it to them. .....

Roddy White and Julio Jones Talk About Their “linebacker mentality”

Roddy White and Julio Jones are the best wide receiver combo in the league (yes I’ve heard of Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks).  Last week the (play) brothers stopped by the Atlanta Falcons D-block show, a web series hosted by the Falcons linebackers. If you haven’t seen the series, make sure you put that on your list. It’s the best sports web series hands down (with Michael...

Anatomy of a Loss

Coming into the New Orleans game, the Atlanta Falcons sat at 8-0. Against the Saints, the Falcons came out and did what they needed to do to open the game. On the first drive they went the length of the field and on the strength of a long pass to Roddy White were able to go in for an early TD. On the first defensive series of the game, and the first pass play, Asante Samuel was able...
