With only four games in play this weekend, there’s not a while lot you can do with your FanDuel teams. If you’re playing a large contest, odds are you’re going to find somebody with a (nearly) identical roster. That’s just the rub. With so few options out there, I’m going to tell you which options I think you should be starting/playing on your team, and who I’d be avoiding adding to your roster. If they’re not listed in either of those categories? Well, I guess that just means I feel pretty ambivalent towards them and you’re on your own when considering them. Sorry about that. QBs Start: Aaron Rodgers, Matt Schaub. This is the first decision you should make in your lineup this week. Rodgers is likely to be the highest scoring passer (and possibly player) on FanDuel this week. The downside is how much you have to go value-hunting on the rest of your lineup to get him on your squad. Schaub has a career 7:1 TD:INT ratio against Cincinnati and costs $2,200 less than Rodgers. That’s almo...

Schaub gets first chance to change fans' minds

HOUSTON -- The one thing everybody seems to "know" about Matt Schaub is that he is not quite as good as he seems. This has come to define the Houston Texans quarterback's relationship with Houston Texans fans. Nobody thinks Schaub isn't any good at all. Everybody can remember those 4,000-yard seasons. They can pick out a handful of anecdotes to prove Schaub'...

Aaron Rodgers not upset over tweets from Greg Jennings’ sister

During last week’s loss to the Vikings, the sister of Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings ripped quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Twitter. While on his ESPN Milwaukee radio show, Rodgers made it clear that the tweets don’t bother him.  He says he won’t let it come between him and Jennings.“That kind of stuff is never going to come between myself and my teammates,” said Rodgers...

Rodgers, Jennings 'fine' after Twitter outburst

When Greg Jennings' sister took to Twitter during last weekend's Packers-Vikings game to mercilessly criticize Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Packers fans immediately began to wonder what the rant might do to the NFL MVP's relationship with his two-time Pro Bowl receiver. Apparently, not that much. Jennings was left to explain why his sister called Rodgers the most...

Notebook: Rodgers’ mobility a Pack advantage

The Packers were able to keep drives alive with a short passing game and Aaron Rodgers extending plays. In the minds of Vikings defenders, that was a major difference-maker.

Packers advance with win vs. Vikes

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers showed how dangerous they can be when they're at full strength Saturday night, overwhelming the Minnesota Vikings 24-10 in an NFC wild-card game that was never really close. John Kuhn scored two touchdowns, DuJuan Harris added another and Rodgers connected with an NFL playoff-record 10 receivers as he threw for 274 yards. Defensively,...

Tom Clements: The Best Kept Secret in the NFL

With another season in the books, it's time to look at potential head coaches that can help another team that have been either assistants or coordinators for their respective team.Today, I am going to talk about one that I believe has been flying under the radar and how his team would hate to lose him.As of now, he is the offensive coordinator for an offense that is about to...

Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans: Wild Card Round Pick

For analysis on Cincinnati http://footballfanspot.com/cincinnati-bengals-wild-card-round-power-rankings-10 For analysis on Houston http://footballfanspot.com/houston-texans-wild-card-round-power-rankings-7 As tempting as it is to go against Matt Schaub, whose team is reeling right now, especially since this is Matt Schaub’s first playoff start (quarterbacks are 5-13 ATS at home...

Playoff Preview: Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

In what will be their third matchup this season, I expect this upcoming playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers to play like the others from this past season. Minnesota forced it’s way into the playoffs last week with a home victory against the Pack, however Green Bay won the division. Like their other games, Saturday will be feature Minnesota’s Adrian...

8 a.m. ET: Two down and one to go, but this one’s going to be big. The Vikings and Packers split their season series with each side taking their respective home game. Minnesota fought their way into the playoffs behind the churning legs of Adrian Peterson last week. Now, the two are set for a rematch in cold and windy Green Bay. Peterson may not have broken Eric Dickerson’s...

Houston dispatches the Bengals 19-13, now they will try and exercise the demons against the Patriots

The Houston Texans, who struggled the last month of the season, beat the Cincinnati Bengals tonight 19-13 behind their All-Pros running back Arian Foster and defensive end J.J. Watt. The Texans, who eliminated the Bengals last season as well, were paced by four field goals by Shayne Graham of 48, 27, 22 and 24 yards and a 1 yard touchdown run by Foster, who finished with 140 yards...

NFC Wild Card: Vikings @ Packers Preview & Prediction

With the evening game of the first day of Wild Card weekend, we get treated to a rematch of a game that was pretty entertaining just six days ago; the 6th seeded Minnesota Vikings travel to familiar ground in the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field to face the 3rd seed Green Bay Packers. No stranger to one another, this age old rivalry looks well on it’s way to being renewed as the...

An insider's view of Vikings vs. Packers

When the Minnesota Vikings left Lambeau Field at 6-6 after losing to the Packers on Dec. 2, no one imagined they'd be back so soon. After all, getting back to Green Bay for a playoff game would require four straight wins including one against the Packers in Minnesota in the final week of the regular season. But sometime in the past month, the Vikings started looking less like...
