Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson was once considered an elite wide receiver in the NFL. Now 31, Johnson should be considered above average and it’s time to seriously start considering whether he’ll be able to remain on the field for 16 games ever again in his career, something that fantasy football owners need to consider when drafting Johnson for their 2012 roster. While following a live blog of Texans training camp on Saturday, Johnson was taken off the field. On Sunday, Johnson suffered what is being called a non-serious groin injury.  Johnson is expected to miss the next week of training camp. As a veteran, entrenched in Gary Kubiak’s offense for several seasons now, missing camp shouldn’t be of concern. What is of concern though is the injury alone.
