Hernandez has been battling an ankle injury and two sources, Adam Schefter and NFL Network reporter Albert Breer are both reporting this morning that Hernandez will not be playing this afternoon.
TE Rob Gronkowski was also listed on the questionable list but it’s widely believed that he is a go for this afternoon.
The patriots have a complete stable of tight ends and activated Visanthe Schiancoe from the injured reserve, designated for return list yesterday afternoon and is expected to see some action today. The patriots will also have Daniel Fells and Michael Hoomanawanui available for action this afternoon as well.
