By Adam McGill As usual, the first half of the fantasy football season has been riddled with injuries and irony.  Many players have exceeded expectations, but as always there are some players who have failed to live up to them.  Below is a list of awards as if the season were to end right now: Off. MVP: RB Freddy Jackson, BUF – Jackson is currently third in the NFL with 803 rushing yards and his 1,194 yards from scrimmage is second only to Matt Forte’s 1,341 yards.  Jackson has been the most valuable fantasy player because he was drafted after the sixth round, but has been playing like a first rounder. Def. MVP: DE Jared Allen, MIN – Allen has shockingly already racked up 12.5 sacks through the first half of the year and is on pace to shatter Michael Strahan’s NFL record of 22.5. Off.
