How long will it take the Ravens to learn your best player should get the ball more than 25 times a game I don’t know why week after week, I keep expecting something to change with the Baltimore Ravens play-calling. It might be I have too much faith that Cam Cameron will gain some sense, or maybe it is my fantasy football side doing the complaining. In the end, the Ravens just aren’t giving the football enough to Ray Rice. Now don’t get me wrong, I do like Joe Flacco, but he is not the best player on this team. While Joe Flacco has proven to be a Top 10 QB, and he has the arm strength to air it out, the disparity between passing and run plays is upsetting. Consider in the Ravens past 4 games, Flacco has averaged 23 more passing attempts per week than Rice has rushing attempts. Then when you consider Rice has only had 1 game where he got 20 carries, the disparity between pass plays and run plays becomes very clear. Now granted, this is a strong receiving core with options like Anquan...

Caption This: Joe Flacco had an awkward spike

Joe Flacco is one of perpetural internet scorn, and why stop today. Thursday night, the Baltimore Ravens’ QB made sure to not be confused with Rob Gronkowski.

Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens Week 4 NFL Preview: Thursday Night Football

Joe Flacco shut up some of the naysayers (myself included) after he was able to put together a virtuoso performance in their 31-30 victory over the New England Patriots. Throwing for 382 yards and 3 TD is a primetime performance against the other quarterback who was named Tom Brady. Ray Rice was effective as usual rushing for 101 yards on 20 carries, but he also hauled in 5 passes...

Week 4 Fantasy Football Preview: Ravens vs Browns

Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore RavensThe new age Browns (Cleveland Browns) versus the old school Browns (Baltimore Ravens). It is known that the Ravens aren't happy about playing in the Thursday night game after playing in the Sunday night game. While they think they are not getting enough rest or time to game plan, the scheduling gods did help them out by putting them up against...

Ravens' o-line looking to regroup after rough outing vs. Browns

BALTIMORE -- It was a rough night for the Ravens' offensive line. After an encouraging game against the New England Patriots in which quarterback Joe Flacco wasn't sacked and was rarely hit, he sustained several big hits as the offensive line regularly broke down against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night. Flacco was sacked a season-high four times and hit six times...

Ravens do their thing as refs return

The regular NFL officials returned to work Thursday night, and the fans gave them a warm welcome back before bestowing their loudest cheers upon the Baltimore Ravens, who never trailed in a 23-16 victory over the winless Cleveland Browns. Joe Flacco went 28 for 46 for 356 yards, threw one touchdown and ran for another. Cary Williams returned an interception 63 yards for a score...

AJ’s Week 4 NFL Primer

Last week was brutal in the NFL. I went 5-11. Big time upsets, tons of late comebacks, and some major botched calls. Let’s just forget about week 3 and move on to week 4 and the real refs being back! Browns at Ravens The Ravens are up there with the Falcons and Texans as the best teams in the NFL. Ray Rice is running like the best he is and Flacco actually looks really good in...

Week Four Picks: Thursday Night Edition

Week 4 Cleveland Browns (0-3) @ Baltimore Ravens (2-1) The first game this season with the regular officials could have been a better matchup, but this game does have a rivalry involved. The Ravens, of course, were the Cleveland Browns at one point in time so a natural division rivalry was born from that.  The Ravens are the class of the NFL and the Browns ...well, play...

Thursday Night Football: Breaking Down The Props, Browns at Ravens

Tonight had such great potential, what with replacement refs and the Cleveland Browns on the field at the same time. But, no, the NFL and the real refs just had to settle their squabbles in time for tonight. After three weeks of chaotic deliberations of the rule book, the real refs will take the field. I feel a bit robbed. I was looking forward to a team being granted four timeouts...

Browns hang around to make it close----but Ravens hold on, 23-16...

You have got to give the Cleveland Browns credit...they made it close and took it down to the final seconds of the game... And this was Brandon Weeden's best game so far as a rookie quarterback in the NFL, despite incessant pressure from the Ravens' pass rush...But in the end, the Ravens wore down the 0-4 Browns, winning by the margin of a Cary Williams interception pick...

What We Learned From Last Night’s Ravens/Browns Game

The real refs are much better Great to see a smooth game played. The product may not have been the best, but at least the refs didn’t add an additional hour and half to the game with constant meetings, reviews and overall ***********. Welcome back, refs. Here’s to hoping Ed Hochuli kept in shape over the lockout. There was noticeably less Cee Lo last night Our prayers were all...
