FF Locker Room:
Fantasy Football News - According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Falcons wide receiver Roddy White underwent an MRI on Wednesday and will be listed on the teams injury report when it is released later today.
FFLockerRoom Take - This is some unexpected news for White owners. Many were hoping to have their stud WR ready for the playoffs. It is unclear what ailment Roddy is suffering at this time so hopefully it’s just precautionary. Keep your eyes on the official injury reports and make sure to have a backup plan if he is questionable.
In the meantime, this helps owners of Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez and likely downgrades Matt Ryan a little. Roddy White is one of the leagues best receivers and would be missed greatly. I’m not sure if Julio is ready to be the #1 when all of the attention will be on him.
In really deep leagues, the next man up would probably be Harry Douglas. So I’ll just mention his name and move on.

Sunday’s game between the New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons will feature some of the best receivers in the NFL. Back in September, Roddy White made the argument that he and Julio Jones are a better receiving duo than Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz. White downplayed Cruz’s abilities by labeling him a slot receiver and claiming that the “big boys play on the outside.”

The Giants don’t need to beat just any opponent this Sunday, they need to beat the 11-2 Falcons. And they won’t face just any pair of receivers, they’ll face Roddy White and Julio Jones, who many consider the best tandem in the league. Nicks would make a different argument, for himself and Victor Cruz. “We’re going to always feel like we’re the best. We strive to be the...
