Alfred Morris, RB, Washington Redskins Player Profile Height/Weight: 5-9/218 Birthdate: 12/12/1988 School: Florida Atlantic FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS Ok, ok, we all know about the Redskins head coach Mike Shanahanigans and his carousel of running backs but last year was different. He found a guy that would do exactly what he wanted, didn’t have fumbling issues and could stay healthy. He found Alfred Morris out of Florida Atlantic. For me, the story really began in the preseason when he took over the starting job due to injuries. Both Roy Helu and Evan Royster were injured and that gave the rookie Morris a shot to showcase his talent, or better yet, to showcase his awareness for the game. He doesn’t have blazing speed or is even that fast ,but what he does have is amazing patience for such a young player in the NFL. His knack for waiting for that perfect moment to go North/South is amazing. If he can stay healthy, he will be the main guy again the Redskins. And with Robert Griffin II...

Former Chargers’ GM AJ Smith takes consulting job with the Redskins

It appears that former Charger’s GM AJ Smith is ready to join the Washington Redskins staff as a consultant, per Kevin Acee of the UT San Diego.  Former Chargers General Manager A.J. Smith was in Indianapolis, though I never ran into him and he didn’t return a call. He was in town to talk with three teams about jobs in their personnel department — the Kansas City Chiefs due...

Fred Davis Unlikely To Back Be Back In Washington Next Season?

Rick Snider of the Washington Examiner writes that TE Fred Davis is “the odd man out” in Washington this offseason. Last year, the Redskins franchised Davis, so another tag would run them $6.5 million after the additional 20 percent is factored in. Snider adds that it may seem like a strange move for Washington to allow a Pro-Bowl caliber tight end to leave during free agency...

Interesting. I don’t remember that defense, but it certainly sounds a lot like what the Pats...
