FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
CJ2K redeemed himself in 2012 after an abysmal 2011 campaign but he still has work to do if we want to consider him one of the best again. Sure he found ways to make us remember the good ole’ days but if he thinks we, the fantasy football community, are just gonna forget about what he did to us in 2011, he can forget it. Because we don’t just let things go. We hold onto them forever… or until he at least gives us a good return on investment two years in a row!
And I’m a believer.
Early on last season, I thought that Chris Johnson had turned the corner and I was right. He continued to play pretty well the rest of the season even with a terrible passing situation. But the consistency doesn’t warrant a fantasy owner taking him early. If someone wants to take a chance on him, let them. I would feel safe if he was the 12th RB off the board at thi...
BEST OF MAXIM
Titans running back Chris Johnson is not short on confidence, as evidenced by his belief that he will rush for more yards than Adrian Peterson did next season.
In a recent interview with NFL Live on ESPN, Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson laid out his goals for 2013.Those goals include having more rushing yards than Adrian Peterson (who in 2012 rushed for 2,097 yards and won the MVP award) and breaking the single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards set by Eric Dickerson in 1984.Johnson seems to be extremely confident in his abilities...
Tuesday night’s in LA, everybody knows the Supper Club is the spot to hit up. I gave you deets on the Hollywood hotspot and the team that puts it together HERE. Last night Rihanna and Chris Brown were in the building, Diddy and Titans running back Chris Johnson. Watch this TMZ captured video of CJ pulling a few from the club and having them pile up in his waiting SUV… I’m guessing...
The Tennessee Titans plan on featuring running back Chris Johnson next season, but they also want to give him some help in the back field. NFL.com’s Around the League asked Johnson about this. “Throughout all the years I’ve been in the league, when we get in the red-zone area they always put another guy in there,” Johnson said. “I think people are making more than what...
The first thing Chris Johnson needs to do is pull up his pants at the club, then we can talk about what he is going to do in 2013.
Considering, Johnson has rushed for 2000+ yards in a season before, it isn’t like he is incapable of outrushing Peterson, but the Titans entire team will have to get better for him to have a shot. It is hard to run the ball, when you are consistently...
The paper thin line that separates a player’s confidence and arrogance was sliced even thinner by running back Chris Johnson yesterday on ESPN’s “NFL Live” show.
Asked, “who will have more rushing yards in 2013…AP or CJ2K?” the lightning-fast running back rushing out of the Titans backfield didn’t hesitate to respond.
“Of course 2K,” he stated chuckling, perhaps...
Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson was the NFL rushing king a few seasons ago. Johnson rushed for 2,006 yards in 2009, and people talking about him as the best back in the game.
Johnson has fallen off a little since then, and even though most of that can be attributed to his offensive line woes, it still causes his numbers to be inconsistent.
Johnson watched Vikings running...
People forget that in 2009, Titans Chris Johnson rushed for 2006 yards. So when you hear Johnson proclaim that he will beat Adrian Peterson’s 2012 rushing record of 2,097 yards, you at least have to listen.
“I’m very confident. I’ve always been a confident guy. This is a situation, if you want something to happen, you’ve got to speak on it. You’ve got to believe...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson says he'll follow up his 2012 MVP award by not only breaking the single-season NFL rushing mark but shattering it with 2,500 yards.
So what does Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson plan to do? Apparently run for more than Peterson, whatever number he puts up.
Appearing on ESPN's "NFL Live,...
