PLAYERS: Joe Flacco
TEAMS: Baltimore Ravens
Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore Ravens Player Profile Height/Weight: 6-6/245 Birthdate: 1/16/1985 School: Delaware FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS What is the difference between the NFL and fantasy football? You can win a Super Bowl with Joe Flacco. You can’t win  your fantasy league with him though. Now that you understand the difference, here is a tidbit of info on him. Flacco has never passed for close to 4,000 yards in a season and he averages less than 24 all-purpose touchdowns a year. He will never be considered a QB1 in fantasy football and he is barely considered a solid QB2 in deeper fantasy leagues. Flacco is a suitable backup if you own one of the top-elite quarterbacks, but if you are going to go with a quarterback by committee, you better hope that your second QB is of a higher caliber than him. • Part of being succesful at our childish attempt to play football on the computer, is the ability to see trends and changes.

Flacco, since the firing of Cam Cameron the Raven's OC that held Flacoo back and tried to make every play look like he was a genius, has performed at a consistent level that no QB before has done. Even with Cam at the helm, Flacco bucked his efforts in major wons against Pittsburgh where Camerom wanted Flacco benched for running a different, but successful series of plays, than he called.

With the corp of receivers he has, and now a solid offensive line, with Rice in the backfield and newcomer Pierce, this will be an offensive machine, and I will gladly use Flacco as a number one if I can get him late in the second or early third rounds....and I don't like the Ravens.

The change is that Flacco for the first time is unchained, the trend is to put up touchdowns without interceptions.
