FF Locker Room:
Kevin Kolb, QB, Arizona Cardinals
FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
Brought in via trade from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011, it was expected that the Arizona Cardinals had finally found the quarterback of the future which had been void since the retirement of Kurt Warner. Well, that story book scenario hasn’t played out true and he very well could find himself as the past rather than the future, sooner than you may think.
He has roughly a 13 million dollar figure heading towards the 2013 salary cap and the Cardinals are looking to negotiate for a more cap-friendly number or just release him outright.
Keep Kevin Kolb off of your roster until you hit a bye-week, he has a great matchup (if healthy) and you are totally out of luck with options.

Pittsburgh Steelers fans that missed the sight of cornerback William Gay in 2012, won’t have that problem during the 2013-14 season.
Gay spent one year with the Arizona Cardinals opposite Pro Bowl corner Patrick Peterson and made solid contributions to their defense.
He was released last week in a salary cap move which cleared the way for his Steel City return.
Make no doubt about it, Larry Fitzgerald is one of the top receivers in the NFL today. In fact, according to Bob Sansevere of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Chris Carter said that Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald is the one and only receiver whose hands are worthy of being compared to Carter’s own.
What do the stats say about Larry Fitzgerald compared to the newest member...
William Gay is heading back to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The veteran cornerback has agreed to a three-year deal with Pittsburgh, a move that should give the Steelers some insurance if unrestricted free agent Keenan Lewis decides to play elsewhere. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The 28-year-old Gay spent the first five seasons of his career in Pittsburgh before signing with...
