Marcedes Lewis, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars
FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
Marcedes Lewis is one of those fantasy players that you know can have a solid game and give you some pretty good satisfaction, but usually he performs like a disappointing date which you met online. Looks good at first but turns butt ugly quick.
The 2010 season will ring in many fantasy players ears for at least another year as he went for double-digit touchdowns and 700 yards on 58 receptions. But don’t let the new coaching staff fool ya, Lewis has performed unsatisfactorily for the remaining six years of NFL career.
Head into 2013 with tempered expectations. There is a good chance that he will see more looks, specifically in the red-zone, which will make his fantasy football stock rise some. But even so, he should remain a TE2 in deeper fantasy formats. Lewis is best drafted late or left on the board.
