I need to start by saying I’m sorry to Mark Ingram. I have bashed his fantasy worthiness into the ground for the past couple of seasons and I might be changing my tune. But I said, might be. See what I did there, gave myself an out!
Lets just forget about his 2012 start where he never ran for more than 3.3 YPC in any game through October. After that is where we can get a glimpse into what Ingram can bring to fantasy owners. From that point forward, he looked like a new man. Someone that actually had something to prove and someone who looked like he could play in the NFL. To that point, he had been consistently outplayed by Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles and Christopher Ivory. But in those last couple of months, he averaged over 6.0 YPC twice and over 5.0 four times.
