FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
During Matt Schaub’s last three healthy seasons, 2012 being one of them, he has thrown for more than 4,000+ yards. Unfortunately, that impressive number is also coupled with a lower 25 touchdown average output.
Andre Johnson, his most consistent target, is getting older and has been battling injuries of his own. Add to that Schaub tossing only 3 touchdowns during the last six games in 2012 as well as an inflated cap number come 2014, and you can easily deem this year for himself as being, “Put up or move on.”
Having his age on the wrong side of 30 as well, it isn’t hard to start speculating that his days as a Texan are numbered unless his contract is reworked or he starts putting up numbers that this type of contract warrants.
Draft him as a mid-to-low end QB2 in deeper fantasy formats and nothing more.

Texans LB Brian Cushing Hopes Injury Brings More Protection For Defenders
The price Texans LB Brian Cushing paid for tearing his ACL on a Monday night in October in his native New Jersey was tangible: 11 regular-season games and two playoff games at age 25, when he's just entering the prime of his career.
And that's not even the worst part. To Cushing, what really stings is that what happened on that low block from New York Jets guard Matt Slauson...
