FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS
Robert Griffin III enjoyed an enormous statistical rookie campaign despite pulling up like a lame duck with a right knee injury late in the season which turned him from an elite QB1 into a low-end QB2 over night. Scoring as the sixth best fantasy quarterback in 2012, it makes it hard to believe that he only had 4 games of 250+ passing yards and that 8 of his 20 passing touchdowns came in a two-game stretch.
Griffin’s all-purpose yards total was just over 4,000 while he combined for 27 touchdowns on only 5 interceptions. Take away his running game though and we are down to 3,200 yards and 20 hand thrown gift baskets. With those stats he would had qualified as the 24th best fantasy quarterback last year, or in other words, just slightly better than Jay Cutler. While it is all hypothetical it is something to keep in mind as he is coming off of ...
