Ryan Tannehill, QB, Miami Dolphins Player Profile Height/Weight: 6-4/222 Birthdate: 7/27/1988 School: Texas A&M FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS Let me start off by saying in no way am I usually the guy that jumps on the bandwagon train, especially with a rookie quarterback without getting something from his initial season to base the excitement off of. If you look at his rookie stats, nothing really pops out other than a 431 passing yard performance against the Arizona Cardinals in week 4. And even in that game he tossed only one touchdown compared to the two interceptions that he packaged for the Cardinals defense. Yet there is something that catches my eye with this kid. Digging deeper, there is another stat that I am going to throw out at you that will make you shake your head and wonder why I am a little giddy over Tannehill. The Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback only had three games in which he tossed two touchdowns. Notice I didn’t say two or more. He literally only had three ga...

NFL Rumors: David Garrard moving closer to become a New York Jet?

In their never ending search to find another quarterback for their roster, the New York Jets have worked out veteran free agent QB David Garrard. Garrard has undergone back issues in recent years and was a member of the Miami Dolphins during training camp last year. Garrard looked good in camp but the team ultimately decided to release the veteran while entering the 2012 season with...

Vontae Davis tweets that Sean Smith is speaking with Chiefs illegally

The Miami Dolphins don’t seem to be in too big of a rush to resign Sean Smith.  However, it seems that Smith might be antsy to find a new team as soon as free agency opens on March 12th.  Typically, when you get NFL players, agents, coaches, and general managers in the same place (The Combine), there will be a lot of behind the scenes discussions that take place.  Now, those...
