Willis McGahee, RB, Denver Broncos Player Profile Height/Weight: 6-0/235 Birthdate: 10/21/1981 School: Miami (FL) FANTASY FOOTBALL ANALYSIS Willis McGahee can still play at a high level, as evidence just take a look at the first 9 games of 2012 before he was hurt. He was averaging a respectable 4.4 YPC and tallied three 100+ yard games. He also became more involved in the passing game catching 26 receptions, the most he’s had since 2007 when he was playing for the Bills. But as we all know, he’s old, and he’s coming off of an injury that required surgery late in the season. And mentioning old with the running back position don’t usually go well together. The positives for McGahee is that the Bronco’s really don’t have an answer to replace him just yet. Sure, Moreno was decent (whom I actually like a lot) but he doesn’t have the size and blocking ability that Willis can provide. That and the added fact is, he didn’t run a whole lot in Baltimore, so his legs don’t have the mileage som...

Dwight Freeney to Denver makes sense

Now that it looks like the Denver Broncos may end getting rid of Elvis Dumervil, the next viable option would be to bring in Dwight Freeney.  It was reported just last week that they’re expected to go after Freeney if they dump Dumervil. Even though Freeney isn’t a natural fit as a 3-4 outside linebacker, the Broncos must believe he can get the job done if they’re willing...

John Elway Called Peyton Manning Before Signing Wes Welker

John Elway may be the Broncos top executive, but Peyton Manning is the teams general, and with that Elway consulted with and made sure Manning was on board before going all in on Wes Welker according to the Denver Post. “I asked Peyton about it yesterday to make sure he was on board,’’ Elway said. Welker deal might force Cruz to accept Giants tender

However, teams reluctant to give up a first-round pick to the Giants in exchange for a slot receiver. What is making matters worse for Cruz this offseason...

Report: Peyton Manning Pushed to Get Wes Welker, ‘Take Away Tom Brady’s Favorite Weapon’

Think Peyton Manning was excited to steal Tom Brady‘s kicker? Well, he’s pretty happy he got his slot receiver this time around, too. While Denver was reportedly constrained in how much it could offer Welker, with...
