Found November 17, 2012 on Rams Herd:
With the Jets' offense in a disjointed haze, and the Rams' defensive line racking up sacks by the dozen, you have to think the men in horns might make a pretty good fantasy pickup this week. But you don't have to listen me, hear what the experts have to say. Here's a take from C.D. Carter of TheFakeFootball.com:  First, the facts: Tony Sparano’s steaming garbage pile of an offense has seven turnovers in its last three games, and if you’ve been unlucky enough to have watched five minutes of Jets’ football during that span, you’ll know that number should be well into double digits. Several fumbles have bounced out of the defense’s grasp, myriad tipped passes have miraculously fallen to the turf; the Jets’ offense is somehow, someway, worse than it appears. Carter also contributes heavily to the genre known as "Miniature Fiction." So when he asked me for some input, I gave him my  thoughts on some key matchups, three sentences at a time.  Cortland Finnegan vs Jeremy Kerley.  Michael Brockers vs Nick Mangold. Jo-Lonn Dunbar vs whoever comes over the middle. Robert Quinn vs D'Brickashaw Ferguson. Craig Dahl vs the voices in his head.

Danny Amendola’s durability issues could keep the Rams from re-signing him

Even though there’s been some speculation that the St. Louis Rams will use their franchise tag on wide receiver Danny Amendola next season, there’s also a chance they decide to move on from him because of how injury prone he’s been lately. “I think it could be a tough call with him,” one team insider said of Amendola’s future in St. Louis. “He’s been playing like...

New York Jets: Tim Tebow Will Start At Quarterback By Week 14

It seems like it was several years ago that John Elway stated that Tim Tebow has earned the right to be the starting quarterback heading into training camp this 2012 football season for the Denver Broncos.Actually, Elway made this comment just this January. Elway had plans to work with Tebow in the offseason to improve his throwing mechanics. That all changed when Jim Irsay...

Champ Bailey Defends Tim Tebow After Criticism From Jets, Says ‘It’s Not Easy Being Him’

Tim Tebow may not have the backing of his teammates in New York, but it certainly sounds like he has some support in Denver. Bart Scott leads ‘media mutiny’ following Jets win

After a tumultuous week filled with antonymous quotes and an alleged in-house divide, the Jets answered the bell in St. Louis, snapping a three-game losing streak with a 27-13 victory over the Rams. But it wasn't enough for Bart Scott, who failed to let Gang Green escape the Gateway City without an extra dash of drama. Following the Jets win, the always outspoken linebacker...

Week 11 Preview – St. Louis Rams vs. New York Jets

The Rams must win this game against the New York Jets at home. On the road, I could live with a loss, but at home, we must win. The “must” part is not arising from a fantasy that we are a far superior team to the Jets. There are no teams in this league that we outclass by a large margin. Instead, the “must” part of the win comes from how well this games sets up for...

Jets leaning on experience of 2009 rally for confidence

In Rex Ryan's first season as the New York Jets' head coach, Gang Green overcame two three-game losing streaks and won five of their last six games to make the playoffs and ride an improbable road win streak to the AFC Championship game. Ryan was asked Friday if this year's team, which sits at 3-6, leans on memories of that season for inspiration. "I think from a...
