Now that we’re on the back half of the 2013 fantasy football season, waiver wire adds become increasingly important. Getting the correct adds to fill your teams needs will be the difference between making a postseason run, remaining in front of the pack or sitting way back and ultimately failing to reach the playoffs. It’s time to get momentum rolling and giving the following adds an opportunity will enhance your chance of making the postseason. After all, that’s what the regular season is for, playing well enough to reach the second season to win it all.   Chris Ogbonnaya: RB, Cleveland Browns The dual-threat talent of Chris Ogbonnaya has really helped Cleveland’s offense find balance this season. Regardless of who’s at quarterback, Ogbonnaya has done rather well since Trent Richardson was traded away. Totaling 53 yards in Week 3, Ogbonnaya hit 48 total yards and a score in Week 4′s win over Cincinnati. Then in Week 6 he accounted for 85 yards and another score. Expect Ogbonnaya to remain a strong aspect of Cleveland’s offense moving forward.   Dallas Clark: TE, Baltimore Ravens For depth purposes, Dallas Clark is a nice add. With bye weeks continuing through October and November, having Clark is a strong fit to fill tight end and flex spots moving forward. For one, he has been targeted 35 times and is coming off his best performance of 81 yards on four catches and a score versus Green Bay. Although he’s 34 years old, Clark remains a dependable veteran and his presence gives Joe Flacco another target. Factor in Baltimore’s ground game and Clark will also benefit from play-action when contributing.   New Orleans Saints Defense Despite the Saints giving up the game-winning score to New England on Sunday, Rob Ryan has this defense playing extremely well. After ranking basically dead last in every category last season, the Saints have made a significant turnaround. Allowing just a 59.7 completion percentage, New Orleans has eight picks, 20 sacks and has only given up seven passing scores. Ryan’s defense also didn’t allow more than 18 points in a game through New Orleans’ 5-0 start. Even though 30 were given up against Brady and the Pats, the Saints won’t see another high-powered offense until Dallas in Week 10.   Follow John on Twitter @Rozum27 The post Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Key adds for Week 7 appeared first on Midwest Sports Fans.

Video: Cleveland Browns fan burns Brandon Weeden jersey

Nobody in Browns town likes it when the Browns lose, but one fan apparently hated it so much that he filmed the burning of his Brandon Weeden jersey. As I stated on Twitter last week, I haven’t bought a Browns jersey since my Kellen Winslow one was rendered useless. I bet this Browns fan wishes he could say the same. Or maybe pyromania is more exciting than not wasting money on...

Can the Browns give fans anything to believe in this year?

It’s a confusing time to be a Browns fan. I guess it’s always a confusing time to be a Browns fan, but this is a conundrum almost unlike any other since 1999. The Cleveland Browns might not be traditional trailblazers, but they do find new and interesting ways to confuse their fans. The Cleveland Browns are in contention right now, but they’re really not. Their record says...

NFL News: Cleveland Browns stick with Brandon Weeden as starter

The Browns surprised few today when Rob Chudzinski announced that they were sticking with Brandon Weeden as starter. Sure, Weeden might have thrown one of the worst passes in NFL history yesterday in a loss to the Detroit Lions, but who else were they going to use? Did you also forget that Jason Campbell’s brief appearance for the Browns in the second game of the year also included...

NFL News: Jabaal Sheard and Jason Pinkston back to practice

The injury news is better for the Cleveland Browns this week. OLB Jabaal Sheard is practicing today, and head coach Rob Chudzinski said he was very close to being able to play last Sunday. The team expects Sheard should be able to play in Green Bay on Sunday barring any setbacks. Also returning to practice was guard Jason Pinkston who was injured in the second preseason game against...

Cleveland Browns Fan Posts ‘Quarterback Wanted’ Craigslist Ad, Says ‘If You Can Throw a Ball, Come Apply’

Brandon Weeden just isn’t cutting it in Cleveland in the minds of some fans. The Browns seemed to have some semblance of a shot this season, but one fan has grown impatient with the team’s quarterback, so that fan has taken to the best place to find whatever random thing you are looking for — Craigslist — in search of a new signal caller. Weeden has a 71.4 passer rating and...

Browns say QB Brandon Weeden is their guy: 'We’ve got his back. So no worries over here'

Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden has been hurt, benched, redeemed, and thrown back into the gutter. However, his teammates say they are behind him all the way and that they feel he can get the team to the playoffs.

Browns not making switch at QB

Browns coach Rob Chudzinski will not bench quarterback Brandon Weeden following Sunday's loss to Detroit. Weeden threw an interception in the fourth quarter of the 31-17 loss to the Lions, who outscored the Browns 24-0 in the second half. But Chudzinski said Weeden played ''well in spurts'' and he has no intention of making a switch to backup Jason Campbell...

No QB change coming for the Browns

Browns QB Brandon Weeden hasn’t been playing high level football. He may have had the ugliest interception of the season when he tried to backhand a pass against Detroit that eventually resulted in a TD. That was one of two interceptions on the day for Weeden. Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that that doesn’t open the door for backup Jason Campbell. Chudzinski...

Player Profile: Jordan Cameron – TE

This NFL season, we have witnessed the Cleveland Browns’ tight end Jordan Cameron emerged as one of the top TE’s in the league. Through the first four weeks, Cameron caught 30 passes for 360 yards and five touchdowns. However, the last two weeks since Brandon Weeden has taken over after the Brian Hoyer (ACL) injury, Cameron has seen a big drop in targets and production. After...

New Browns WR Charles Johnson has torn ACL

getty images The Cleveland Browns recently signed wide receiver Charles Johnson off the Green Bay Packers practice squad but that does not mean that he will see the field this season. Johnson was found to have a torn ACL during an intro physical. He will be placed on the reserve/non-football injury list. The seventh-round rookie sprained his MCL in June.
