Now on the back half of the 2013 fantasy football season (in most leagues), every week becomes increasingly important for waiver wire adds. After all, the last thing anyone wants is to miss out on the postseason. Putting the best efforts toward reaching the fake football playoffs and extending your season will make 2013 more exciting and fun to watch. So let’s check of Week 8′s waiver wire adds.   Donald Brown: RB, Indianapolis Colts Donald Brown hasn’t made much of an impact this season. At least until now. In Sunday night’s victory over Denver, Brown carried the ball 11 times and only gained 23 yards. He also caught three passes for 42 yards, which shows he can be a dual-threat. No, those numbers aren’t eye-popping, but in PPR leagues and when you need a bye-week filler, Brown is capable of a sound flex start. The guy is going to get snaps, and his ability in pass-blocking, rushing and receiving only enhances his appeal moving forward.   Delanie Walker: TE, Tennessee Titans Anyone in the need of a backup tight-end must consider Delanie Walker. He leads Tennessee with three receiving scores and has 23 receptions on 34 targets. Obviously he gets a bit overlooked because of Nate Washington and Kendall Wright, not to mention the Titans feeding Chris Johnson on the ground. That said, Walker is a playmaker that knows how to find the end zone. Although his production in Week 7 mainly came in garbage time, it was also Jake Locker’s first game back in a while. And once he finds a rhythm again, Walker’s targets and numbers will improve.   Buffalo Bills Defense The only real objection to Buffalo’s defense is that it has allowed 15 passing scores thus far. On the bright side, the Bills have logged 12 picks and 23 sacks. In addition, they give up a mere 55.1 completion percentage and have allowed just two rushing scores. If anything, the Bills’ confidence has gradually increased as the 2013 season has progressed.
