I know why you’re here.
Week 10 has created so many question marks for teams heading in to Week 11. The biggest of all being at the quarterback position with injuries to the dominant Jay Cutler, Alex Smith, Ben Roethlisberger, and Michael Vick.
Let’s get to it!
Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups
Nick Foles, QB, PHI (Yahoo! 5%, FOX 1.2%)
The big question for a lot of you is what to do at your quarterback position. Week 10 has hurt many fantasy teams. Hopefully you had a good back-up. Otherwise, get Foles for Week 11.
This is basically process of elimination with the replacement QBs. Jason Campbell plays San Francisco and Colin Kaepernick plays Chicago in what has become the most interesting game of Week 11, but it features two stout defenses so it’s less interesting froma fantasy perspective. Byron Leftwich plays the Ravens.
Foles really is the only decent fill-in as he plays Washington, which has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season. Match-ups, match-ups, match-ups.
Marcel Reece, RB, OAK (Yahoo! 35%, FOX 13%)
I’m eating a healthy serving of crow this week for recommending Goodsen last week. As my Fantasy Forecast co-host JD Bunkis recommended, Reece was the best backfield option for the Raiders.
The 13 of 24 carries wasn’t eye-popping, but seeing the ball that frequently will ensure a high points basement.
The real value is as a receiver. Reece has been targeted more than any Raiders back this season, and he saw a lot of action Sunday with seven catches on nine targets for 56 receiving yards.
Reece is worth a pick-up in most formats. Especially when you factor in the Raiders play the porous Saints run defense.
Chris Ivory, RB, NO (Yahoo! 13%, FOX 5%)
Ivory has been great in the absence of Darren Sproles. He had seven carries for 72 rushing yards and a touchdown, plus a 13-yard receiving sprinkle on Sunday.
Simple as this: Ivory has double digit points in the two games Sproles has been hurt. As long as Sproles isn’t playing, you play Ivory.
Danario Alexander, WR, SD (Yahoo! 6%, FOX 0.8%)
Alexander had a breakout performance this past weekend. He caught at 80 yard TD early on, and was looked at often, en route to 134 yards on five catches.
With the Chargers facing Denver this weekend, Rivers may have to rely on all his receivers again. We’ll have to see if Alexander is a one week wonder, but he’s worth a bench sport for his upside.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger could miss extended time with a “serious” shoulder injury. (AP)
Per a tweet from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger could miss extended time with a shoulder injury that is “serious” and “complicated.” The Steelers are keeping decidedly hush-hush regarding the status of their 2-time Super Bowl...
Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is expected to miss practice Thursday as he is recovering from a concussion he suffered last week, per Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times.
“Indications are that quarterback Jay Cutler will not practice today at Halas Hall,” writes Jensen. “In addition, his usual press conference today will not take place. Those are both strong indications that...
Baltimore Ravens (7-2) at Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3)
Ben Roethlisberger is out for this one. How can the Steelers possibly beat the 7-2 Ravens? That’s the question that everyone seems to be asking this week and apparently no one can come up with an answer as the public is pounding Baltimore as road favorites here. However, as is often the case with the public on heavy leans, I think...
Ben Roethlisberger doesn't sound like a guy who plans on playing against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
The injured Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback said Thursday he's still in significant pain from the sprained right shoulder and dislocated ribs that have forced him to sit out Pittsburgh's last two games.
Roethlisberger said ''there's always a chance'...

Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will miss Sundays game against the Baltimore Ravens. Exactly how many games the play caller will miss is unknown.
The problem is that Roethlisberger’s rib is partially dislocated and with the location of it there is some concern that it could press against his aorta.
According to Doug Bouchette Roethlisberger says the last time...
Just a few days ago Ben Roethlisberger was telling the world that he would miss a game if it meant he could be present for the birth of his child. Now Big Ben may miss a game because of another reason. Roethlisberger injured his shoulder in Monday night’s game after being sandwiched by Chiefs linebackers [...]
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a rib injury along with the shoulder problem and won't play Sunday, according to Adam Schefter.Fantasy Spin:Big Ben has a well documented history of playing through injuries but this could be the one that knocks him out for one or more games. Fantasy owners should plan a strategy which doesn't include Roethlisberger in Week 11.
The Chicago Bears are expected to sign quarterback Josh McCown with Jay Cutler's status in doubt because of a concussion, ESPN Chicago reported Monday. Cutler sustained a concussion after taking a hard hit during the Bears' 13-6 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday night. Jason Campbell replaced Cutler for the second half of the game. The Bears will need another backup...
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Much of the NFL medias attention Monday was focused on concussions after San Francisco quarterback Alex Smith, Chicago QB Jay Cutler and Philadelphia QB Michael Vick were all knocked out of action with such injuries.
The NFL insists it is doing all it can to decrease the chances of such injuries occurring, but when they occur on an illegal hit -- as was likely the...
The Chicago Bears have signed veteran backup quarterback Josh
McCown with Jay Cutler's status for this week uncertain.
Last week: 14 (+7)
This team really lucked out. They were looking shaky (even off a 35 point home win) and had 2 games against the Steelers in their next 3 weeks and looked poised to cede their division lead, but Ben Roethlisberger’s injury changes that. They’re still allowing 40 more yards per game than they gain and have only won 2 games by more than 10 points despite...
ESPN’s John Clayton reported that Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is “doubtful” for this Monday night’s game against the 49ers, after suffering a concussion against the Texans.
If Cutler can’t play, Jason Campbell will get the start.
“It looks like he’s probably going to miss this week,” added Clayton. The issue with Cutler is that he reportedly has close to...
