I know why you’re here. Week 10 has created so many question marks for teams heading in to Week 11. The biggest of all being at the quarterback position with injuries to the dominant Jay Cutler, Alex Smith, Ben Roethlisberger, and Michael Vick. Let’s get to it! Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups Nick Foles, QB, PHI (Yahoo! 5%, FOX 1.2%) The big question for a lot of you is what to do at your quarterback position. Week 10 has hurt many fantasy teams. Hopefully you had a good back-up. Otherwise, get Foles for Week 11. This is basically process of elimination with the replacement QBs. Jason Campbell plays San Francisco and Colin Kaepernick plays Chicago in what has become the most interesting game of Week 11, but it features two stout defenses so it’s less interesting froma fantasy perspective. Byron Leftwich plays the Ravens. Foles really is the only decent fill-in as he plays Washington, which has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season. Match-ups, match-ups, match-ups. Marcel Reece, RB, OAK (Yahoo! 35%, FOX 13%) I’m eating a healthy serving of crow this week for recommending Goodsen last week. As my Fantasy Forecast co-host JD Bunkis recommended, Reece was the best backfield option for the Raiders. The 13 of 24 carries wasn’t eye-popping, but seeing the ball that frequently will ensure a high points basement. The real value is as a receiver. Reece has been targeted more than any Raiders back this season, and he saw a lot of action Sunday with seven catches on nine targets for 56 receiving yards. Reece is worth a pick-up in most formats. Especially when you factor in the Raiders play the porous Saints run defense. Chris Ivory, RB, NO (Yahoo! 13%, FOX 5%) Ivory has been great in the absence of Darren Sproles. He had seven carries for 72 rushing yards and a touchdown, plus a 13-yard receiving sprinkle on Sunday. Simple as this: Ivory has double digit points in the two games Sproles has been hurt. As long as Sproles isn’t playing, you play Ivory. Danario Alexander, WR, SD (Yahoo! 6%, FOX 0.8%) Alexander had a breakout performance this past weekend. He caught at 80 yard TD early on, and was looked at often, en route to 134 yards on five catches. With the Chargers facing Denver this weekend, Rivers may have to rely on all his receivers again. We’ll have to see if Alexander is a one week wonder, but he’s worth a bench sport for his upside. ***** The post Fantasy Football Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups & Advice appeared first on Midwest Sports Fans.
