Houston Texans @ Jacksonville JaguarsHouston:  The Texans come off a predictable and complete dismantling in week 1 of a Dolphins team that is bound to have a tough year.  Even with losing Mario Williams to free agency, this defense is still formidable, as Ryan Tannehill found out.  Of course, if the defense stifles the Jaguars repeatedly, that will likely hold down the pass attempts for Matt Schaub.  This week, don’t expect Schaub to have to throw the ball more than perhaps 25-30 times, but that won’t stop him from tossing a touchdown or two.If Schaub does throw a TD, it’s a good bet it’ll end up in the hands of BFF Andre Johnson, who is healthy and a must start once again this year.  If Johnson doesn’t catch one, almost assuredly Owen Daniels will, who also is another important player that’s finally healthy.Look for Arian Foster to get back fully on track here, with well over 100 total yards and at least one if not two scores.  Ben Tate could even get some cleanup action in this o...

Jaguars Sunday Primer: 3 Things to Watch

Divisional games for the Houston Texans always seem to be an adventure for the team, especially when the Jacksonville Jaguars are involved. Despite the Texans taking both games in 2011 (24-14 and 20-13), there is reason to use caution in their first meeting in 2012. Look no further than the Jaguars best player in Maurice Jones-Drew and what he can get between the tackles and moving...

Maurice Jones-Drew said an NFL.com report that he was fined $800,000 for his holdout was "false" but declined to say how much he was fined. No preseason, no problem for Watt

By CHRIS DUNCAN AP Sports Writer HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt was simply trying to catch passes with his one good arm a few days after dislocating his left elbow early in training camp. He vowed to be back by opening day. He not only returned, but he made a major impact, deflecting two passes that produced interceptions in the Texans' 30-10 win over...

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars: Week 2 NFL Pick

Houston Texans (1-0) at Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1) Blaine Gabbert looked serviceable in the opener against the Vikings, completing 23 of 39 for 260 yards, 2 touchdown, and no interceptions. Minnesota’s secondary is crap, but I was very impressed with Gabbert’s poise under pressure. I didn’t like the matchup for Gabbert because of his struggles under pressure last season. Minnesota...
