For one reason or another, wide receivers have been more open than 7-eleven in 2007 and quarterbacks are finding them for easy points. So, check out the Bruno Boys Week 3 Fantasy Football Rankings, and see where Jesse Burkhart ranks your signal caller. ??????????????????????????????- 1. Peyton Manning (IND) at Houston Manning takes on an improved Texans' bunch, but the improvement remains overmatched by greatness. Manning will have his way with Houston as he looks to rebound in a big way from a one TD effort against the Titans. Point Projection: 26 points ??????????????????????????????- 2. Tom Brady (NE) vs. Buffalo Brady is making a hard charge for that top spot, but needs to outperform Manning a few more times before he earns the honorable distinction. Watch Joe Montana Pt. II carve up a shabby Bills' secondary. Point Projection: 24 points ??????????????????????????????- 3. Carson Palmer (CIN) at Seattle Premise A: Palmer threw six touchdown passes against Cleveland last week. Premise B: Cleveland's defense is half as good as Seattle's. Conclusion: Palmer throws three touchdown passes against Seattle. Point Projection: 23 points ??????????????????????????????- 4. Jon Kitna (DET) at Philadelphia The concussion that Kitna sustained last week appears to be of no consequence. He's an every-week starter now that he's proven he can move the ball against the best defenses (22/33, 245 yards in limited action last week against Minnesota). Point Projection: 22 points ??????????????????????????????- 5. Marc Bulger (STL) at Tampa Bay Owners should be pleased that Bulger is even still standing after the pounding he received at the helmets of the 49ers in Week 2. He'll recover to post a good line against the Bucs if the protection is any better. Point Projection: 22 points ??????????????????????????????- 6. Donovan McNabb (PHI) vs. Detroit Donovan has much to prove to owners and fans alike, having not one TD pass to his credit thus far this season. Call it a hunch ? it'll be a high-scoring affair at Lincoln Financial Field and McNabb will earn his keeps for at least one week. Point Projection: 21 points ??????????????????????????????- 7. Drew Brees (NO) vs. Tennessee Hopefully the bright lights of Monday night will extinguish Brees' two week streak of poor play. The Saints just have too many weapons to a slot a top-5 QB from last season down any further. Point Projection: 20 points ??????????????????????????????- 8. Matt Hasselbeck (SEA) vs. Cincinnati The Cincy defense was exposed in Week 2. Look for Hasselbeck to move the ball at will and accumulate a high yardage total that is deviant from the norm. Point Projection: 19 points ??????????????????????????????- 9. Eli Manning (NYG) at Washington Five days of rest or so should allow Manning's shoulder to get near 100 percent. It'll need to be if the Giants have thoughts of winning at least, as he figured to be letting the bullets fly if they find themselves fighting from behind again. Point Projection: 17 points ??????????????????????????????- 10. Jeff Garcia (TB) vs. St. Louis Garcia has been a surprise to many who thought he would flop in Tampa's run-first offense. He'll be a better option this week with a favorable matchup against the Rams. Point Projection: 17 points ??????????????????????????????- 11. Tony Romo (DAL) at Chicago No, I didn't forget about Rome's this week. He's making a compelling case to be considered among the top five QB's right now with some of the superstars currently struggling, but going to Soldier Field will notch anyone down a few spots. Point Projection: 16 points ??????????????????????????????- 12. Jake Delhomme (CAR) at Atlanta The Panthers are a good team on the road, and the Falcons are a bad team anywhere. I figured this was a solid basis for forecasting Delhomme's second solid fantasy performance in a row. Point Projection: 16 points ??????????????????????????????- 13. Matt Schaub (HOU) vs. Indianapolis Schaub is more than just a trendy fantasy sleeper now. He's quickly emerging as a QB1, and is a good play against the Colts' inexperienced DB's. However, with Andre Johnson being doubtful it hinders his production. Point Projection: 16 points ??????????????????????????????- 14. Brett Favre (GB) vs. San Diego A motivated Chargers squad is out for blood after receiving last week's drubbing. The skies will remain clear for Favre to toss an assortment of picks and TD's. Point Projection: 16 points ??????????????????????????????- 15. Vince Young (TEN) at New Orleans Young has performed below owners' expectations thus far, but this is something I've expected since before the preseason began. He'll pitch in a good effort this coming Sunday though against a wobbly Saints defense. Point Projection: 16 points ??????????????????????????????- 16. Jason Campbell (WAS) vs. New York Giants If Romo and Favre can combine for eight passing TD's against the G-men, Campbell should be able to sprinkle on two. Point Projection: 15 points ??????????????????????????????- 17. Matt Leinart (ARI) @ Baltimore His stock is rising again after last week's performance, but it will stall temporarily against the furious Ravens. You could do worse for a QB2, however. Point Projection: 15 points ??????????????????????????????- 18. Trent Green (MIA) at New York Jets Green owners got treated to a Jekyll and Hide presentation in Week 2 (287 yards, two TD's, four INT's vs. Dallas). Expect a mid-teens point total this week, that is more consistent with his general consistency. Point Projection: 15 points ??????????????????????????????- 19. Phillip Rivers (SD) @ Green Bay Considered an up-and-comer, Rivers has yet to show that he can pace the Chargers' offense without the exclusive help of LT. Now's not the time to gamble in making him your top option, although he'll improve upon his first two games. Point Projection: 15 points ??????????????????????????????- 20. Jay Cutler (DEN) vs. Jacksonville The good news: "The Brandons" (Marshall, Stokley) have surfaced as reliable targets. The bad news: Cutler's dealing with a tough cookie in Week 3. Sit him if you can help it. Point Projection: 15 points
