St. Louis Rams
Chicago Bears @ Dallas CowboysChicago: The Bears didn’t need their best effort to beat the St. Louis Rams, as it sure seemed like they couldn’t get a whole lot going anyhow against a very beatable Rams defense. Now they get a Cowboys defense that is considerably tougher, especially at home.Jay Cutler hasn’t looked very start-able since Week 1, and there’s no reason to start looking at him now this early in the season.Without Matt Forte for one more week, Michael Bush once again gets all the carries to himself. Unfortunately, he’s not likely to do much with it, as the Cowboys have the speed on the outside and the strength in the middle to shut him down.Don’t expect big numbers, but Bush is a goal-line specialist, so he may be able to sneak one in if the Bears get close enough.Brandon Marshall certainly hasn’t looked great since Week 1, but he’s still Cutler’s favorite target and the Cowboys still don’t have a premier corner that can stick with him all game long. Marshall should be ab...

Every time Jay Cutler drops back to throw the ball, he is a dead man scrambling, literally. The franchise quarterback was brought in three years ago to revitalize a proud franchise and bring the Bears back to the glory days of the “Super Bowl Shuffle.” In his fourth year as the Bears starting quarterback, Cutler looks less like a franchise quarterback and resembles a quarterback...
The Chicago Bears visit the Dallas Cowboys in a Monday Night Football battle between marquee NFL franchises. Jay Cutler has plenty to gripe about: Chicago has a Super Bowl-caliber defense and dreadful offense, No. 1 on our Defensive Hog Index, No. 32 on our Offensive Hog Index.
“Wake me Up When September Ends” is a hit song by the band Green Day and was released in 2005.The song was attached to the postseason run of the Chicago White Sox, all the way to a World Series title.Chicago sports fans are once again hoping to attach the song to another team this season in the form of Bears starting quarterback, Jay Cutler. Cutler had a disastrous month of...
When the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys each take a long look into the mirror the image they may see is one of the team they both are playing against Monday night. Both teams opened the season with impressive wins. Both teams laid eggs in week two losses. Both teams looked lethargic in week three wins. Both teams have a quarterback constantly under scrutiny from the media.This...
The best Chicago Bears podcast on the web returns this week for yet another breakdown of the week that was. We cover Jay Cutler and the struggles the Bears have had on offense. Talk about the youth on defense and what it means for the future and a full preview of the Monday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys.
When the Chicago Bears meet the Dallas Cowboys Monday night in Texas, both clubs will have more in common than just 2-1 records. Neither club has lived up to lofty preseason expectations. Both the Bears and Cowboys are led by veteran quarterbacks in Jay Cutler and Tony Romo, respectively, who are magnets for criticism yet possess exciting play-making skills. Each has [...]
The Chicago Bears rebounded nicely from a very disappointing Thursday night loss against their rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday by taking apart an undermanned St. Louis Rams squad, 23-6.Jay Cutler and the offense still looked out of sync throughout the game, but established some consistency in the second half as Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall came up with some clutch catches...
It wasn't a Sunday night or Monday night game, but it was still another embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears for the St. Louis Rams.I did predict that it was going to be a loss for the Rams, but I thought the Rams would have a better performance then they actually did. The Bears beat the Rams 23-6. The Rams only scored two field goals courtesy of rookie Greg Zuerlein. The Rams...
Tough loss, Cleveland (23-16; Two 4th quarter field goals). It’s ok, you still have Ohio State football to follow – until late November. Brandon Weeden now has 3 TDs and 7 INTs this season. Last night’s INT helped break the tie he had with….Jay Cutler. The problem for the Brownies is that 31st ranked defense. Pisshoff, indeed.
Today’s NY Post cover: ‘Dickey Does It.’...
