Oakland Raiders @ Denver BroncosOakland Raiders: Another game that likely cost more than a few survivor pool players, as the Raiders were able to come back at home and take a game from the Steelers.Pittsburgh looked like they had the game well in hand. But then Carson Palmer stormed back, throwing for three touchdowns and showing that he’s a viable starter if you’ve been forced into a platoon situation at quarterback.Darren McFadden’s day was buoyed by a 64-yard TD run early in the first quarter, but it sure looks like he finally got over the hump in the new Oakland zone blocking scheme. While the Steelers' defense hasn’t looked great this year, they’re still good against the run and McFadden was still able to rip off at least one huge run. Run DMC is a pretty good play this week against the Broncos. While Palmer has looked good so far this season, you have to wonder if the attrition in his receiving corps will catch up to him. Darrius Heyward-Bey took a nasty hit for a concussion...

(Eds: With AP Photos.) By JOSH DUBOW AP Sports Writer Philip Wheeler saw plenty of Peyton Manning and his hand signals and gesticulations in his first three seasons in the NFL as teammates on the practice field in Indianapolis.
Wheeler hopes he will have more success dealing with Manning when they meet for the first time as opponents. The Raiders (1-2) visit Manning and the Broncos...

The Denver Broncos have announced three roster moves a little more than 24-hours before their game in Denver versus the Oakland Raiders.
A week ago Us Weekly reported that Emily Maynard, of the Bachelorette, was caught exchanging explicit text messages with an unidentified man which led to an explosive fight with finace Jef Holm during a family vacation.
The unidentified man is now believed to be Matt Leinart.
This reports comes from his ex Kaylee Shepherd. Which could raise some to question why Holm confided in his...
The Oakland Raiders ruled wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey out of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. Heyward-Bey took a hard shot to the head from Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Mundy last week and was hospitalized overnight with a concussion and neck injury. He hadn't practiced at all this week but had been listed as doubtful to play this week until the Raiders...
Raiders starting wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey missed practice again Thursday, four days after suffering a concussion and strained neck against Pittsburgh.
He's here today, Raiders coach Dennis Allen said. He's going to be fine. He's still got to go through the protocol of the concussions, and he hasn't passed those tests yet.
If Heyward-Bey misses...
The Denver Broncos have placed second-year safety Quinton Carter on injured reserve after he hurt his surgically repaired left knee last weekend.
The Broncos promoted rookie safety Duke Ihenacho from their practice squad to take his place, and they also promoted second-year linebacker Mike Mohamed to the active roster for Sunday's game against Oakland.
Starting middle linebacker...
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Oakland Raiders have ruled out both wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey and tight end Richard Gordon.
No one should be surprised that Heyward-Bey has been ruled out. He didn’t practice all week after taking a brutal hit during last week’s win over the Steelers.
As proven in last Sunday’s 34-31 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden is the key to the offense. When McFadden can get the running game going, it opens up opportunities for the rest of the offense to make plays. He is such a dangerous weapon that opposing defenses have to game plan for him. If history is an indication, McFadden should be...
Denver Broncos coach John Fox is appealing his $30,000 fine by the NFL for inappropriate behavior toward a replacement officiating crew, ESPN.com reported Friday. Defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio is expected to appeal his $25,000 fine as well. Fox and Del Rio were fined for arguing with the officials during a six-minute delay in Denver's loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week...
Broncos wideout Eric Decker connected with Peyton Manning seven times for 79 yards and a touchdown, Decker's first of the season, Sunday against Oakland.Fantasy Spin:Manning is heavily targeting Decker and Demaryius Thomas this season so owners should have no problem starting both of them.
Denver running back Willis McGahee (ribs) is listed as probable for Week 4, according to the Denver Post.Fantasy Spin:McGahee left Sunday's game against Houston with injured ribs but he's been fine in practice this week. Even if he wears protection for his ribs he should still be fine to start as a RB2 in 12-team leagues.
The Broncos have lost second-year safety Quinton Carter for the season.
A 12-game starter as a rookie, Carter was placed on injured reserve Saturday because of an aggravated knee surgery. Carter will undergo microfracture surgery on the knee next week.
With Carter now off the roster and middle linebacker Joe Mays suspended for the game Sunday against Oakland, the Broncos replaced...
Broncos center J.D. Walton suffered a broken ankle late in the second quarter and will likely miss the rest of the season.
Walton was blocking out front of a run by Lance Ball when the center was inadvertently rolled up from behind by Oakland Raiders defensive end Jack Crawford.
Walton had played all but one snap in his first two seasons and 3 1/2 games into his third. He was...
The Denver Broncos reclaimed their home field with a vengeance Sunday in a 37-6 win over the Raiders before 76,013 fans at Sports Authority Field.
Quarterback Peyton Manning, who had nothing to do with the previous four losses to Oakland in Denver, orchestrated the win operating mostly out of a no-huddle offense the Raiders expected but could do nothing to stop.
