The fantasy football season heats up in Week 5 with four teams on bye, forcing managers to replace starters and get creative with their lineups. Luckily, we have you covered with five enticing players who could smash their projections this week.
PPR projection: 21.84
This is already a lofty projection, but that should tell you how much we like Fields this week. The New York Jets quarterback scored 29.52 and 27.14 points in the two games he started and finished this season, and he's averaging 59.3 rushing yards and one rushing score per game. Now he gets to face a lifeless Dallas Cowboys defense that's given up the most fantasy points to opposing QBs this year. Fields is a top-five QB in Week 5.
PPR projection: 13.7
If you've been holding onto White hoping for his opportunity to come, this might just be it. Starting running back Bucky Irving had a walking boot on his left foot at practice this week after suffering a sprained foot, so he's unlikely to play on Sunday. If he's ruled out, White will be in for a huge workload against a Seattle Seahawks defense that's given up the 13th-most PPR points to opposing RBs.
PPR projection: 15.02
In his return to action last week, Worthy caught five of his team-high eight targets for 83 yards and added 38 yards on the ground to finish with 17.1 PPR points. He did all that while playing only 59 percent of Kansas City's offensive snaps. Worthy's usage is only going to increase as his shoulder injury heals, and the Jaguars have allowed the 11th-most points to opposing wide receivers this season.

Huge to get him back and the impact was immediate. Two explosive plays (a few more left on the table), touches in the flow of the offense, & opening up the route tree a bit. pic.twitter.com/wGd0NTQFWR
PPR projection: 9.2
Slayton has an opportunity to take over as the No. 1 receiving option in New York, as Malik Nabers is now out for the season with a torn ACL. The Giants wide receiver led the team with 44 receiving yards last week against the Los Angeles Chargers, and this is a much easier matchup against a New Orleans Saints defense that ranks 30th in the NFL in points allowed per game (30.3).
PPR projection: 8.0
Last week, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters that they need to find more ways to get Taylor the ball. Well, that's exactly what transpired on the field, as the rookie tight end recorded season-high marks in targets (seven), catches (five), receiving yards (65) and fantasy points (11.5) against the Miami Dolphins. Taylor is a dynamic playmaker who has emerged as the No. 2 option in this passing game, and he should stay hot against Dallas' porous defense.
