St. Louis Rams @ Miami DolphinsSt. Louis:  The Rams come off of an impressive defensive effort on Thursday Night Football, beating the Cardinals handedly 17-3 in Week 5 action.  During the game, Sam Bradford lost his favorite target and PPR gold WR Danny Amendola, so it remains to be seen just how badly that effects the Rams offense.  Someone will have to step up, and the one who will get first crack to do so is the guy who’s been starting across from Amendola, Brandon Gibson.  Gibson won’t rack up the sheer number of catches Amendola did (over 30 on the season), but he should get an uptick from the 3-4 catches he’s been seeing with Amendola on the field.  Fortunately, the Rams go against the 26th ranked pass defense in the league, which should help them hammer out exactly how their passing game is going to go in the post-amendola world.I’m sure the Rams would like to count more on Steven Jackson, who’s been gutting it out each week through a painful groin injury.  Jackson did get t...

Report: Teams are interested in trading for Steven Jackson

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter via Evan Silva of Rotoworld.com, some teams are interested in trading for St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson, but they don’t want to pay him the money he’s scheduled to make.“Teams would like to trade for Jackson, but no one wants to pay what he makes right now,” said Schefter. This likely means Jackson will finish up this season...

Rams Jimmy Kennedy Denies Snitching To NFL About Bounties

Bounty Gate has taken on a life of its own, and even after its resolution, there will probably still be conversation. Fresh off of Roger Goodell re-issuing his bounty punishments, news has leaked out possibly involving another witness to the transgressions. Only thing is, the new key witness says he’s not a witness and was never spoken to. I know it sounds like an episode of The...

Steven Jackson Splits Time with Richardson

Rams running back Steven Jackson was healthy, but split time evenly with rookie Daryl Richardson.Fantasy Spin:This is not good news for Jackson's fantasy owners. Miami's defense was ranked No. 1 against the run heading into the game so not much was expected of Jackson, but this new strategy, if ongoing, is a shift that will significantly reduce Jackson's fantasy value.

Fisher's Rams will keep going north on South Beach

We all make choices in life. They range from serious to frivolous: Which car to drive, where to attend college, whom to approach at a nightclub, whom to date, whom to call at 3 a.m. if we need to post bond. We face decisions each day. Go back to January, and Jeff Fisher had a choice between South Florida sun and a Midwest franchise that had set. The St. Louis Rams were as stable...

Week 5 Preview – St. Louis Rams vs. Miami Dolphins

Looking at the numbers, this doesn’t look good for the Rams. Since the end of the 2007 season, the Rams have won exactly five road games. Yes, this is a different team, but this new team is 0 and 2 on the road. The Rams need to be able to run the ball, or at least threaten the run to have offensive success. Turns out, Miami is the number one defense against the run in the...

Dolphins Gameplan: Efficient offense and suffocating defense

The Miami Dolphins have a chance to even their record at 3-3 on Sunday, and keep pace (although it’s early) in both the AFC East and Wild Card races.  The Dolphins have played better than most people expected before the year started. They’ve been rushing the ball effectively, getting solid play out of their rookie [...]

This Sunday, the Miami Dolphins take on the St. Louis Rams in what will prove to be a good match up for both teams.  However, the St. Louis Rams have started to turn some heads with quality victories over the Redskins, Cardinals, and Seahawks.  The Rams feature a tough defense anchored by their always up to no good Safety in Cortland Finnegan and incredible play by Robert Quinn...
