Robert Griffin III
Top 5 Fantasy Football Free Agents
1). Jermaine Gresham CIN TE - 108 receiving yards 0 TD
The thing I like most about Gresham is how frequently he is targeted/used in the Cincinati Bengals offense. For those looking to upgrade their tight end to a more consistent preformer, look no further then Gresham.
2). Mike Goodson, Marcel Reece, or Taiwan Jones OAK RB
As of right now Mike Goodson is next in line to take over carries for the injured Darren McFadden, but he picked up a sprained ankle. Either way, it behooves fantasy owners to grab whichever back shakes out.
3). Cecil Short JAC WR - 56 receiving yards 0 TD
Not the greatest of showings, but you still have like the limited production in just 3 receptions. He’s going to get a lot of opportunities going forward.
4). Carson Palmer OAK QB - 414 Passing Yards 4 TD
You have to love Palmer even more with McFadden going down. It’s going to force the Raiders to pass it more and more.
5). Ryan Broles DET WR - 52 Receiving yards 0 TD
Broyles finally did not find his way into the end zone, but still managed to produce a moderately productive week. He has the potential to become a much bigger player in Detroit’s offense.
Reminder- Danny Amendola is coming off a bye/injury. The guy was one of the best wide receivers around before he got injured. Don’t miss out on him.
3 Trends to Watch
1). I think Chris Johnson’s performance this week should give his fantasy owners confidence in starting him every week.
2). A part of me wants to say sell high on Doug Martin because his value is just ridiculous, but realistically with his remaining schedule being ripe with easy opponents and out of the world production I plan on riding him out.
3). One player I might consider trading is Robert Griffin III. RG3 has a pretty tough remaining schedule and has sputtered as of late. If you have depth at quarterback, I would look hard at trading him.

Another season is spiraling out of control in Cincinnati and the long-suffering fans are left to suffer once again. The team is in the middle of a four-game losing streak. Direction has been lost. Hope has disappeared. So what’s next?
If it were me, I’d start making plans to move Marvin Lewis upstairs. Think about it. There’s no denying that the overall talent on the Bengals...
Remember all those improvements the Cincinnati Bengals made during the offseason, addressing glaring needs? Of course you don’t; it never happened.
It was obvious to everyone who follows the team that the Bengals needed a serious upgrade at safety. Reggie Nelson was fine at one of the spots (although he hasn’t played well for the most part this season) but there was no way the...
Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick is active for the first time this season, ready to make his NFL debut against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
Kirkpatrick hasn't played because of a knee injury suffered over the summer. The first-round pick hadn't been active for any game so far.
Brandon Tate starts at receiver in place of Armon Binns, who missed the last game with an injured...
CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Bengals are back on oh-so-familiar ground, caught in the deep slump that threatens their season at the midpoint.
Happens a lot in Cincinnati.
A 31-23 loss to Denver on Sunday left the Bengals (3-5) with a four-game losing streak. They've had a losing streak of at least four games in 16 of their last 22 seasons. Twice, they lost 10 in a row.
In five of those...
In one of the more entertaining games this weekend, the Denver Broncos needed a fourth quarter rally and two touchdowns to hold off a late charge from the Cincinnati Bengals for the win 31-23. The momentum changed side numerous times in this back and forth affair, and in reviewing the game for identifying the "hero" and “zero”, I had plenty of candidates from both teams...
The second half is here, and since the Bengals had a chance to change things up, I did the same thing with my picks. I’m changing it up a little bit to prove to (fool) myself that this season is far from over. If Andy, Ray and the other leaders on this team take what Marvin said to heart then hopefully we’ll be seeing a new group of guys out there today. I’m all for fresh...
