QB Tom Brady
If you can invent a reason to bench Brady during a week that most leagues play for their championship, more power to ya. The Jags haven’t been a train wreck against the pass, but it’s hard to envision a way they can hold Brady under 300 yards and 2-3 scores.
WRs Wes Welker, Brandon Lloyd
Brady’s growing chemistry with Lloyd has been one of the underreported stories of the past few weeks, and it looks like they are finally in sync. Look for Lloyd to grab 6 passes for over 80 yards and a score. Welker has been fighting a bad case of the dropsies the past few weeks, but Brady has still looked his way often (the first half of Sunday night’s game notwithstanding). I think he’ll put up north of 70 yards, but a score is always a dicey proposition for Welker since others present better red zone targets.
RBs Stevan Ridley, Danny Woodhead, Shane Vereen, Brandon Bolden
While some Bills fans may take umbrage, I think the Jags have the league’s worst run defense....

AROUND THE WEB
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady recently took his son (Benjamin) and dog for a stroll around the block. And because it's cold in the Northeast during wintertime, he needed the warmth of a conehead-looking toboggan as well. But it begs the question, what on Earth is Brady hiding in there?Via The Superficial.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady sat out of
Wednesday’s practice with an injury to his throwing shoulder, while tight ends
Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez practiced at a limited capacity.
While Brady is listed on the Patriots injury report with an
injury to his right shoulder, it would seem that the more likely reason for his
absence in Wednesday’s practice...
Tom Brady Highlights - Brady for MVP! (by Chris Lunsford)
Highlight videos are starting to come out! Love it!
I want to see the fire from Brady regardless of the opponentEach week there is a new gameplan, a new formula for victory. Each week certain aspects of the game just loom larger than the rest. The idea is not to divine the course of the contest, but to highlight the match-ups and intangibles that I'll have my eye on during the broadcast. 1. A Pissed-Off Brady - I have always thought...
New England Patriots (10-4) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-12)
Tom Brady and the Patriots lost last week, but there was still a lot to like from that game. They scored 34 points on the league’s best defense, despite a season high 4 turnovers and despite missing Rob Gronkowski. Their defense surrendered 41 points, but that could have been a lot less if not for the uncharacteristic 4...
Sunday’s loss is still lingering in the minds of the Patriots’ players, and that could be a good thing as they prepare for a playoff run.
Tom Brady says he feels like the Patriots haven’t won in three years, and I’d expect him to come out playing like he has three years worth of scoring to make up for.
He’s not the only Patriot with something to prove, though. Stevan Ridley...
After an impressive seven game win streak came to abrupt halt on Sunday night against one of the best teams in the league, the New England Patriots are looking for the key to storming into the post season with some momentum and power. As much as Sunday's loss hurt, it also showed that they will not quit and that they still can score a lot of points in a short period of time. For...
Ladies, you aren’t the only ones with Tom Brady at the top of your Christmas wish list. There’s a certain coach who wouldn’t mind seeing the future Hall of Famer in green and white this holiday season.
Jets head coach Rex Ryan has been forced to address quarterback questions all season long. That tends to happen when your starting quarterback is the putrid Mark Sanchez and...
I don't want to know what he's planning to do with that.If there’s one thing I’ve learned from being the editor-in-chief of a sports comedy blog, it’s that dating a supermodel can be rough on your hair. Remember when Tom Brady hooked up with Gisele Bundchen and his hair started getting weird, and how even now he’ll show up to random charity events with spit-curl...
Last week’s Patriots’ game with the San Francisco 49ers featured many twists and turns. The Pats found themselves down 31-3 at the beginning of the third quarter. They rallied late, but eventually fell short 41-34 and lost control of their own destiny for a first round bye. The only way that could happen now is with two wins and a Denver Broncos’ loss to either the Browns or...
