Braylon Edwards today signed a 1 year $3.5 million dollar contract with the San Fransisco 49ers. A base bottom contract for a wide reciever who only a few short years ago had 16 touchdown receptions. In fact he is even making less than Mike Sims-Walker is with the St. Louis Rams. So what does this mean for him on your draft day? Edwards is not the same guy he was 4 years ago when he was the 4th best fantasy wide out. He has gotten a case of the dropsies, getting into fork and knife fights at restaurants and getting DWIs. One advantage he has is he is no longer strapped down on the conservative Jets run first offense. However, he still has Alex Smith to flutter balls over his head. He does have upside, however.
