BREAKING NEWS: TRENT RICHARDSON TRADED TO THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS FOR A FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK! Chiefs @ Eagles – Andy Reid homecoming, McNabb retirement…and an offensive shootout between two explosive offenses. All Eagles fans know that Reid likes to pass the ball but he also uses his multi-use running back stud Jamaal Charles. Texans @ Ravens – Well now that Foster and Tate are splitting carries in Houston, you don’t know who will get those goal line carries. Andre Johnson is questionable with a concussion and with the explosion of DeAndre Hopkins could be a great #2 WR. Ray Rice is a game time decision and Bernard Pierce could get the bulk of the carries either way. Giants @ Panthers – Brandon Jacobs could be a great play for the rest of the season. Once he knows more of the playbook I think he will get the majority of the carries. Browns @ Vikings – Expect the big game for AP and little offense from Cleveland. Earlier this week they stated Brian Coyer will be the starting QB and now with trading Trent Richardson away gives them no running attack. The Browns plan on signing a free agent to fill the void left by Richardson. Willis McGahee seems to be the guy. If you are playing in a deep league and need a RB, sign him. Lions @ Redskins – Reggie Bush’s status is unknown for week 3. Joique Bell should start and the struggling Mikel Leshoure could get a handful out of the backfield. Falcons @ Dolphins – Mike Wallace is finally getting his catches. On the other side, Atlanta will be without Steven Jackson in week 3. Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling will split the carries but Snelling has been more productive this season. Colts @ 49ers – With the addition of Richardson, the Colts offense could really explode. The acquisition will help Luck, Wayne, and Hilton moving forward making defenses adjust to the running and passing attack. Jags @ Seahawks – Lynch will shred the Jacksonville defense and until the Jags sign Tim Tebow, their offense will be non-existent. MJD is questionable so who knows who will run the ball for very little yards. Bears @ Steelers – Cutler and Brandon Marshall have been picking apart defenses better than ever this year. And Pittsburgh lack of an offensive line and rushing attack makes their offense horrible. If you could pick a punter in fantasy football, I’d take the Steelers punter in the first round. Raiders @ Broncos – Peyton Manning is going to be without his offensive tackle Ryan Clady for the remainder of the year which means Knowshon Moreno will be on the field more for better blocking from the backfield. Anyway, the Denver offense will shine on MNF against Oakland. Good luck to all in week 3!
