Let the free agent feeding frenzy talk begin.  First and foremost, pay this guy whatever he wants.  DE Mario Williams should be the main target for the Jaguars.  He will instantly transform our defensive front four into a nightmare for opposing QBs & easily double the Jags sack total.  I know he was injured, but he is young and will still be dominate for years. The Texans did fine without him thanks to Watts & Barwin stepping up.  The Texans will not resign him due to having to pay Foster this off season. Their loss will be our gain. If for some reason the Jaguars can't land Super Mario, then they should go after DEs like Cliff Avril of the Lions, Robert Mathis of the Colts and Calais Campbell of the Cardinals.  Any of these players would greatly improve our front four on defense.

Obviously the greatest need for the Jags in at wide reciever.  The good news is that there will be lots of very good WRs available in free agency this off season.  The main target needs to be Marques Colston from the Saints.  He has all the tools the Jaguars need for a true number 1 wide out.  He would make an awesome target for Gabbert.  I think the Jags will get 2 or 3 Wrs in free agency this year.  They could easily pair Colston with the likes of Dwayne Bowe from the Chiefs, his current teammate Robert Meachem, Vincent Jackson of the Chargers, Mario Manningham of the Giants, Harry Douglas from the Falcons, Reggie Wayne or Pierre Garcon from the Colts or a true burner like Desean Jackson of the Eagles.  Any combo of these WRs are head & shoulders above anything the Jaguars currently have on the roster & would represent a major upgrade at the WR position.

Some other free agents the Jaguars could be in the market for include OG Carl Nicks of the Saints, QB Chris Redman of the Falcons as a back up for Gabbert, CB Aaron Ross from the Giants as well as CB Tracy Porter of the Saints if the Jaguars don't bring back Reshean Mathis.  Looks like the Saints will be raided of a lot of talent this off season ( much to the shagrin of my brother ).  If the Jags can just get a handful of these players they will greatly improve their chances of winning the AFC South, becoming a contender in the playoffs for years to come & hopefully finally getting to the Super Bowl.  This off season could literally be the biggest in Jaguars history.  Along with a solid draft, free agency could put the Jags over the top. Thank you Mr. Khan & GO JAGS!!!
