GLENDALE, Ariz. -- There's something about overtime games that must appeal to the Arizona Cardinals because they play enough of them and usually, it works out in their favor in the end. It did once again on Sunday as Jay Feely's 46-yard field goal with 8:29 left in overtime clipped the Miami Dolphins, 24-21, at University of Phoenix Stadium. It was the Cardinals' fifth overtime game in their past 13 and they've won all five. Sunday's win improved them to 4-0 -- their best start since winning their first seven games in 1974. "I don't know what it is with us that we have to take it to the last moment of the game, but we're winning and that's all that matters," said wide receiver Andre Roberts, who caught six passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Feely's winning kick was set up thanks to a big hit by linebacker Paris Lenon on Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who wound up throwing a wobbly pass that was picked off by sa...

It’s official Arizona Cardinal fans, you can come out of the witness protection program now and finally enjoy a team that will be competitive many seasons from now. Card Fans have been in hiding ever since Kurt Warner retired and after the 2011 season, there was nothing to feel good about. GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Sometime in the second quarter Sunday, Cardinals receiver Andre Roberts put a little piece of knowledge in quarterback Kevin Kolb's back pocket: Roberts had his defender beat on one particular play if Kolb had time to get it there.
It was a subtle heads-up early in the game, but Kolb knows Roberts well enough to take such a tip to heart.
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- There will be plenty of noticeable blemishes when the Cardinals roll the film of Sundays 24-21 overtime win over the Dolphins at University of Phoenix Stadium.
The offensive line and quarterback Kevin Kolb allowed eight sacks.
Kolb tossed maybe the worst interception of his career with his team poised to seize control of the game.
The running game limped...
Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb threw for 324 yards and three scores to offset his two interceptions. More importantly, he led Arizona to another win, this time in overtime against Miami.Fantasy Spin:Kolb isn't giving the starting job back to John Skelton, especially when the Cardinals are winning ballgames. He's a risky fantasy proposition but at least he's using top...
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Through four games, the Cardinals have yet to unleash their vaunted return game. But special teams coach Kevin Spencer has no complaints with the performance of his punter and kicker.
Dave Zastudil ranks just 12th in the league in yards per punt (47.5), but he is seventh in net yards per punt (42.9), a far more important stat. Hes also fifth in punts downed inside...

WASHINGTON STATE COACH Mike Leach has not given any definitive answer when discussing his quarterback situation all season. But during his Monday teleconference, Leach gave a strong indication about which signal-caller will start at 3 p.m. Saturday at No. 14 Oregon State (TV: Pac-12 Networks). Leach also discussed Saturday's 51-26 loss against Oregon at CenturyLink Field and much more.
Entering Week 4 of the 2012 NFL season, the NFC was 8-4 in games against the AFC. This comes as a surprise because in previous seasons (Super Bowl aside), the AFC reigned supreme over the NFC in regular season match-ups. With two cross-conference games scheduled today, the lead will grow or narrow. After the San Francisco 49ers pummeled the New York Jets 34-0, the remaining AFC...
