GAME BALLS Wide receiver Andrew Hawkins: Offensive coordinator Jay Gruden has been looking for more ways to incorporate “Little Hawk” into his game plan and he certainly did that against the Steelers. Hawkins had five receptions for 56 yards, including a nice 25-yard diving catch during the first quarter which gave the Bengals momentum. Linebacker Manny Lawson: Easily his best game as a Bengal with a team-leading 10 tackles, including half a sack, a tackle for loss and two quarterback hits. UPON FURTHER REVIEW We keep waiting for that second receiver who can take the pressure off A.J. Green to consistently show up. With Green on the sidelines in the second half with a hyperextended knee, Jerome Simpson was held without a catch while Andre Caldwell and Hawkins had three receptions each.
