The past four weeks have not been especially kind to Victor Cruz. Despite the Giants climbing out of a 0-6 hole and into NFC East contention, Cruz has not been a major contributor as of late. Since his 3 touchdown performance Week 1 in Dallas, Cruz had gotten in the end zone just once. He’s also only had one game with more than 5 catches since the last Sunday in September. It is somewhat noteworthy that Cruz’s targets have decreased by a tad in recent weeks. In the first 5 games of the season, which happened to all be losses, Cruz was targeted 11 times a game on average. Through the last 4 games, 3 of them wins, Cruz has been targeted 8 times a game. 8 targets per game is still a solid amount of targets but any type of decrease in targets for a receiver is a bit concerning. In this past week’s game against Oakland, Cruz was targeted 10 times. He ended the day with 3 receptions totalling 37 yards, and his touchdown drought remained intact. How much of this can be blamed on Cruz and h...

Scott Tolzien (Photo credit: USA Today Sports) This Sunday the New York Giant (3-6) will be looking to keep their momentum going and build on their three game winning streak, as they play the Green Bay Packers (5-4) at MetLife stadium. The New York Giants are currently one and a half games out of first place in the NFC East behind the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. This...

Perry Fewell will be the key to beat the Packers

Over the past several weeks the New York Giants defense is been putting on a performance. Ever since the Giants traded for Jon Beason the team has been amazing. Tomorrow if they want to beat the Green Bay Packers they will have to apply pressure on Scott Tolzien. He is getting the nod for the […]

Eli Manning's Daughter is Most Impressed by Her Dad's Role as a Dunkin' Donuts Spokesman

Eli Manning is the starting quarterback of the New York Giants. He's a two time Super Bowl winner and a three time Pro Bowler. He's received the Super Bowl MVP in both of his team's Super Bowl wins as well. All that would pretty much impress anyone. But to Eli's daughter Ava, all of that pales in comparison to her dad's legendary role as a Dunkin' Donuts...

Jason Pierre-Paul With Amazing Pick-6 Of Scott Tolzien Pass (Video)

Scott Tolzien is who we thought he was. The New York Giants have harassed Tolzien in to two interceptions on the day, including this pick six by Jason Pierre-Paul who just snagged the ball out the air. H/T Bleacher Report

Make sure to tune into the MSG Network this evening at 6:30 Eastern Time for an interview with Giants WR Hakeem Nicks. Nicks talks to Bob Papa and crew about a range of topics, including his performance this year, what he expects for the remainder of the season, and how he views the matchup against the Packers this Sunday. Our number one receiver admits that when...

Today's Giants Inactives

Here are the seven players who will not take the field when the Giants play the Packers today. Per QB Ryan Nassib CB Corey Webster RB Peyton Hillis LB Allen Bradford OL Dallas Reynolds DT Markus Kuhn TE Adrien Robinson Obviously, the name that stands out is Peyton Hillis. It looks like rather than have a crowded running back field...

Jason Pierre Paul called his interception like Babe Ruth called his home-run

Jason Pierre-Paul scored on a spectacular, leaping 24-yard fourth-quarter interception return and the resurgent Giants won 27-13 over the slumping and injured-riddled Packers (5-5). “I have never seen anything like it before in my life,” fellow defensive end Justin Tuck said. “We were literally in a TV timeout and he said, `I’m going to pick […]

Giants top Packers, 27-13, for fourth straight victory

Jason Pierre-Paul stood on the sideline beaming, gladly reenacting the moment for Mathias Kiwanuka and Shaun Rogers. Only a few minutes had passed on the moment that saved the Giants season. Wearing a harness on his shoulder and still healing from offseason back surgery, the Giants defensive end had a first-and-10 pass from Green Bay Packers quarterback Scott Tolzien fired directly...

Giants hope to extend winning streak vs. Packers

The winning is the reward for the hard work. That is the way Eli Manning views the give-and-take of the NFL and, he says, when you win “it’s definitely a little bit easier to smile on Mondays.’’ No one should confuse smiles with relief. No one around the Giants is relieved. Sure, they are just 1 1/2 games out of first place in the NFC East behind the Cowboys and Eagles...

Why Giant Exile Pick Six is the Best Fantasy Game Around

I love football. All football. High School, College, and Professional. And not strictly the Giants. They are the greatest team known to man, of course. But I do enjoy watching other teams slug it out, if it's a quality match-up For example, I am anxious to see how the Chiefs will fare against the Broncos this Sunday night. Curious if the strengths of either... Game Predictions: Packers at Giants

Cory Jennerjohn (@coryjennerjohn) Amazingly, the Giants started 0-6 and are still vying for the NFC East crown. Eli Manning is a good quarterback but with no running game, he has been exposed with many poor decisions. The Giants win this game on the strength of its defensive line. Getting pressure to disrupt Scott Tolzien, who is making his first career start, early will pay dividends...

Packers Leave New York Feeling Blue

Making his first-ever start in New York, quarterback Scott Tolzien played about as well as anyone could have expected. Unfortunately for the Packers, it wasn’t enough to cover up the team’s glaring shortcomings. The Packers, trying to snap their two-game losing streak, came out of the gates rather quietly. With his third starting quarterback of the season, Mike McCarthy predictably...

The Giants Get Day Off, Start Preparing for Cowboys Anyways

The Giants have somehow improbably clawed their way back into the NFC East divisional race through a mixture of some vulnerable opposition and opportunistic defense, mixed in with some power running and Victor Cruz play. It would have been easy to quit after an 0-6 start, and there were rumors that some were starting to do just that. It is amazing what a little winning can...

Five Key Matchups: Packers vs Giants

The Green Bay Packers have dropped two consecutive games at Lambeau Field. This week they take their show on the road when they travel to MetLife Stadium to face the New York Giants. The Giants have been a thorn in the Packers side recently, winning each of the last two matchups in convincing fashion. This week both teams are a at a bit of a crossroads in their season, so what are...
